I am looking at 2 2005 vipers one a yellow or the other a Copperhead. Which do you think would be the better choice. I have only seen the Copperhead paint on the Internet, I have a better idea of what the yellow looks like in person. I know the Copperhead was made in limited numbers (300 I think). Please let me know which you think will hold its value better or which color car you prefer. Thanks in advance

That is acutally a very diffucult choice but I would personally pick Yellow. Does the SRT a lot more justice.
Now from a buyers point of view, the "secure" investment is the Copperhead. The Copperhead is a limited production color and it has been evident to hold it's value better than regular line SRT-10's. Another good "value holding" car is the Commerative edition, as well as the Black and White Mambas. Good luck with your choice.

I have seen Copperhead in person. Best looking color for the SRT convertible ever. The unique wheel option is killer and are lighter than those on the SRT. My vote hands down not considering price or miles.

The Copperhead is an amazing color. We all know that Yellow is fastest but the Copperhead is the one Viper you can "downgrade" and have a great color. 
As stated, its a Viper so either decision is the right one. The bottom line is which color draws YOUR attention. If the Copperhead caught your eye on paper, you will love it in person.

Definitely yellow. Racing Yellow is a classic color. Copperhead is trendy.

Copperhead paint looks good new. If the paint fades, however, the Copperhead could look really poor. I remember Corvettes having unique colors in the 70s. Now they look soooo dated. The yellow color will hold up better over time. Glad I dont have to make the decision. A toss-up.

I saw my first copperhead the other day, it was nice, but with the sun directly on it, it just didnt looks sporty like the viper should. I would get yellow or keep looking. The copperhead is a nice color for sure, but it would be the last color i would personally get on the viper.

That is the biggest part that I did not like about the color. Depending on the light it could look good or bad. What I would love to see is an SRT in that Orange that the gentlemen painted his in. It was in the Viper Magazine as well as at the last VOI?? It was Orange with the Carbon color bottom half. Looked hot!

i had a yellow '01 RT and man do the insects love yellow and so does brake dust. i had always wanted a yellow viper since '94 and after having one now i dont want another. it is definetly a peresonal preference thing but i really like the copper color(although not as much as my silver). good luck and enjoy whatever you get.

In my opinion both are trendy colors. I don't think copper belongs on a sports car and yellow gets old fast. I don't like either one and I've seen both in the flesh. I'd go with black on the SRT-10. Just my .02.
