05 Heffner Twin Turbo Viper SRT-10 For Sale

I’m selling my 2005 Heffner Twin Turbo Viper SRT-10. I bought it brand new with 4 miles on the odometer in May 05. It has 1,200 miles. It’s Red.

I have been delaying my move date to Europe but I can’t delay it any more and I need to move to Frankfurt, Germany very soon.

I have been waiting in the United States basically for the completion of my 2005 Heffner Twin Turbo Viper and was enthusiastic about shipping it to Europe but recent circumstances has me worried that I’ll be on my own for servicing and maintaining the Viper in Europe.

Heffner has been working on this car for a while now and has installed every single part and done all the modifications on this car.

Probably just the outside body and inside of the car remained unchanged. Wait I have a hardtop and some interior stuff too.

The car is at Heffner’s shop right now and will be completed within this month, May.

It hasn’t been on dyno yet but it should be putting down 1000 RWHP on pump gas, 1200+ RWHP on 100 Octane and 1300+ RWHP on C16.

I have invested more than $120,000 on this car.
I’m asking for $160,000 or best offer.

you are moving to high speed heaven and want to abandon viper? Man, you just have no idea what are you moving into! Every day on every autobahn is a racing day for you (okay, not racing, that's wrong, but can go 120mph+ legally!!!) Plus these autobahns are SMOOOOOTH!!!. Unless you are motivated financially just don't be scared. Viper has Euro version which is identical except of exhaust system and there is certainly a service place for Viper in Frankfurt. Spare parts are typically delivered within couple days in case you need them (I don't see what would you possibly need).

Plus you just can't imagine how many grinning faces you are going to see. Everytime I take viper out people around are pointing, smiling, taking pictures and move to make you room on the road. Much more positive reception then Ferrari.

So again - unless motivated financially bring it over!

The custom fees and taxes I would need to pay to register the car over there affects the decision greatly too.

What's the updated scope on Taxes for US cars in Germany?

There used to be a Tax free exemption on cars based on age of the vehicle. Is that still the case?

There also, used to be a tax exemption for travelers and non-citizens, that allowed a car to be registered for a certain amount of time (1yr?).

Good luck, I've been on the autobahn going close to 200mph and it was a blast. But I got there ALOT slower than you would!

After all the time and money invested in this Viper, off course I would love to take it over to Europe but there are some big custom fees and taxes waiting for registering the car over there.

I have 3 offers now for the car. I'm considering these offers right now.

I brought viper over too. You won't have to worry about taxes and customs - since you relocate and owned the car for more then 6 month you are excluded from VAT and customs - this is EU-wide regulation. What you might worry about is the technical inspection but this differ country to country. Your viper won't pass emissions and noise pollution tests but these may not be a problem in Germany like they were in Czech, I don't know. You may be required to install rear fog light - just stick it to rear diffusor and run a wire from front fogs. And you may be required to show clear position lights (US have orange) which I did by removing this lead from the front turn lights and feeding it into main reflector with small bulb - only for inspection. You may also be required install side turn light which I did sticking led based light panel to side. It works well and even looks good

. And that is all. All costs were few pennies. So before you sell it try to find out what TUV (german tech inspection) requires and then make a decision. Taxes and customs won't be a factor.

You MUST take it with you and drive the Ring! Nuerburgring is to road course drivers what Mecca is to Muslims, or at least it should be. At 17.5 miles, this Holy Grail of road courses is over four times the longest road course in the US. Toss in the Autobahn and, well, it's just too exciting to imagine. Take the beast with you, you lucky %*#&%@!

Control your boost and keep it at 4lbs until the straights and let it bump up a bit. Lots of control with TTs! :headbang:

But I would have to agree that 1400hp would be a bear to handle on a road course! :usa:

I went to extreme measures to come up with the money needed for such a big project.
It doesn’t mean that I have money to throw around.
I don’t see it as pitching money into the garbage and I don’t care what you think about it.

I need to move to Europe for business reasons as soon as possible.
Taxes and custom fees are not the only reason for selling the car. There are many reasons involved.

I was hoping to have the Viper shipped overseas months ago but things are taking a little more time than I thought. It’s been holding my move date.

If I can get something close to what I want, I’ll sell it. Otherwise, I’ll look into other options.

With AEM Engine Management System, the boost is programmable for each gear. The car will be setup something close to this.
1st Gear – 600 RWHP
2nd Gear – 800 RWHP
3rd Gear – 950 RWHP
4th Gear – 1200 RWHP
5th Gear – All you have
6th Gear – All you have

And you can fine tune the power and the way boost kicks in even further for each different track.

Matter of fact, looks to me like you could have a paid-for-***** 96 GTS with your balance on mods versus sale price. About the only thing worse would be buying a boob job for a cheating girlfriend. Someone else will be playing with a toy you paid for.
