My neighbors are Wheels of America and they offered to experiment
and paint my stock wheel Faces Black with polished edge detail.
I'm planning on it,figuring worst case i'll get JH's wheels.
Or chrome em,cause the stock polished bites.

I wouldn't dream of it. I fell in love with the look of the Gen II wide-spoke polished wheels the first time I saw them on a fellow club member's black 2000 RT/10, when I was still sporting the stock Gen I painted three spokes on my '95. I priced getting the wide-spoke 18" wheels for my '95, and the price for the stock wheels plus having to get new tires (17's weren't going to fit on those 18" wheels  ) was over $4500 - and this was the dealer cost plus 10% price of around $740/wheel back in 2000, not the $1300 MSRP (can you say 90% dealer mark up?).

Now, a polished black - shiny not flat, well, that might look cool - but I couldn't imagine doing that to the wide-spoke 18" polished wheels.

Good luck with it - it will probably look cool, but its sacriledge to me.

Don't know if this will help, but here are some '96 wheels powdercoated semi gloss black.

I did mine myself. The stockers had some curb rash and I really am not a fan of chrome or shiny stuff on "racecars". This pic was pre-Eibach, of course :2tu:
