I was looking for a pre-creampuff GTS because of the forged pistons but now considering a '01+ for its ABS. I know for extensive mods Blower/Turbos/Large N2O shot it will need a piston swap but what about a mild shot say 150hp shot?

Try Bernie Katz "Katzmeifucan" of BJ Motors he has 2 Blue and Whites.
A 400 mile Blue and White and 1 with only a couple thousand miles. That low enough?
You're gonna pay because you said those 2 things together.....Blue and White and low mileage.....but you already know that.
cheers!

Cast pistons are like porcelain. They are trong, resist wear and time but breaks instantly in case of a shock. You can only make one mistake with a cast piston. The slightest mistake is fatal.

You can run even 10psi boost or 300 NOS shot but when the engin pings it sounds like a sonic boom ...

I wasted nine pistons with a 200 shot on my '01. Mine leaned out, so it was my fault, but they aren't very forgiving.

I have a set of 10 forged diamond pistons from Sean Roe complete with standard rods if that will help anyone?

With only 1000 miles on them

I think you're better off getting forged pistons for creampuffs than getting ABS for your pre-01's.

So do I which is why I'm looking at a '01+,I can swap the pistons myself.

Boy that picture looks familiar! I replaced my cream puff pistons with forged and now all is well. I have an extra set up new in the box forged Ross pistons, 18cc dish. They would be great for a turbo application if anyone is interested.

Thanks,

Rich
