Willow Springs Big Track - Sept. 2 & 3

(I know this belongs on the "Viper Events" forum, but for some reason I can't post there)

Come on out to the "fastest road in the West" on the weekend of Sept. 2 & 3 -- Speed Ventures has the Big Track at Willow Springs, and sign ups are very low, so you will get tons of track time.

Hope we can get a big Viper contingent for the event. See you there!!

Hi:

There are a few of us from AZ that are interested. What types of cars usually show up to these events? Full race cars? Stock? Are there any limits on mods on a Viper?

You Arizona boys should come out. Willow Springs is a great track which is easy to learn (just 9 turns) and is designed for high horsepowered cars like Vipers. It will test your 'sack' factor to see whether you can keep your foot in it or not through turn 8.

I may be there Sept 2nd with my gal so she can get some seat time in the Evo, and we'll certainly be there Sept 9th and 10th for OTR.

Both OTR and Speed Ventures are awesome groups to run with. Speed Ventures allows you to rent one of their transponders so you can see how you did each session. OTR doesn't have any of this.

I think we are going to be there. Is the temp ok in early September? Around here it is still unbearable.

I'm guess track temps in the low 90*s if lucky by the OTR event on the 9th. Mornings will be good until noon. By 1 it will be full temp until 5.

Add 4* or 5* for the SV event.

Disclaimer: I'm guessing/hoping. I've been there with it 110+ in August and it ***** the life out of you.
