no vca in west texas!!!!!

i just joined the vca today and i had to choose the south central texas vca!! the problem is i dont live in south central texas

how many vca memebers live in west texas?? maybe we can get a west texas vca!!

I don't know if it's true or not but in my son's fifth grade history book it says people who live in west Texas are descendents of pioneers whose wagons broke down.

I hear that the owners in that neck of the woods don't have much money....they actually "pan handle" for extra cash for their cars. Sorry....had to do that.

I thought that there were LOTS of owners there, not just in Houston. Some will chime in I am sure.....

1st of all we dont have woods, we have tumble weeds the size of yugos. And we dont pan for anything, we play with oil. You have got to get you geographic regions straight!

John, we need to contact all the viper owners we know and get a club going for our region. It probably wont be real active with everyone in the oilfield so busy but atleast we can have a get together from time to time. Im sure we could pull some from Lubbock also.

I joined the south central Texas club a year ago and to no avail no club contact or responses from emails. I am located in Boerne now, used to be active in the Houston club with John N. But nada, Nothing! What Gives?

I belonged to the North Texas club and they have a lot going on. I've met some great people but it's hard for me to get out there with my cars. Haven't reupped because I wasn't getting much out of being a member, not saying others don't. I'm still here in WT with my '00 GTS and my '06 GT. Don't have to have a club to get together and have a blast...

The best car club in the CC area is the Porsche Club - Coastal Bend Region. They do lots of track time and have regular weekly/monthly club meetings. Great people! Tell 'em Dean sent ya.

Ever hear of the Hill Country Drive group. We team up with the Viper folks almost every month here for drives. The Viper world (VCA and Non-VCA Vipers) are very active...just have a few folks that might not be on the distribution list.

Heck, we have three events alone in October, at least 1 in November...active, yes, but a large territory doesn't help those on the outskirts.

Haha i was reading this and just noticed it was from 2006, i lived in Midland and worked in Big Spring for a year and a half before moving to greenville!!, but in that time Just saw one yellow (05) Viper.

I'm in Abilene (at Dyess AFB) and know of another blue/white GTS on base. One of the local layers also has a yellow RT/10.

Right now in 2013 the VCA has three regions in Texas. VCA North Central, VCA South Central, and Houston.
There is a VCA New Mexico group as well.

Maybe we can meet up sometime. Hogwhisper picked up his genV a few weeks ago. I lived in Abilene for about 6 months back in 2001. Lots of cool cars with the military base.
