The GA-VCA is having a meeting on November 1st at...*******! The GA-VCA hasnt been very active in the past few months, so we want a BIG turnout at this event so we can get things turned around and straightened out for 2007! We will be meeting at the Gwinett Place Mall ******* at 7:30pm and eating around 8:00pm. The address for ******* is:

3550 Gwinnett Place Dr
Duluth, GA 30096-4707

All Viper owners in GA are invited! You do not need to be a VCA member to attend. All food and drinks (except for alcohol) will be paid for by the club! :)

Please make plans to attend and drive your Snake if possible :headbang:

I have been to this ******* recently and yes, the girls are HAWT! :D

You do not need to RSVP or anything, just show up and be ready to have a evening of fun, food and Viper conversations :)

Chad, we need to make sure this info gets out via email as well. Thanks for the help from you and Dave. I hope we can do many things over the next year to make owning a VIPER in Georgia a more rewarding experience (and make the VCA worth the hundred bucks).

I'll see you there.

Do you have the GA-VCA membership email list? I don't. If you have it and want to email it to me, I'll be glad to send out the email to all members in the club

wayne has it, or you can "reply to all" from an email he sent.

I would have already done it if I had the list.

You guys should have it on a weekend so SC Vipers might make some of the events. ;) Of course if it rains I wouldn't be able to make it weekend or week day. The Carolinas **** when it comes to meets so I'm looking to jump ship.

In the history of our club & many others clubs that have actually researched this stuff, its been just the opposite, weeknights especially monday & tuesday are the night for the most turnout in meetings, events are for the weekends, Combining events & meetings are not a good idea & diminishes the response for both. In 2003/2004 we were averageing over 25 people for the tuesday nite meetings with a high of 36! & weekend participation was up too, the biggest turnout was the Hayes meet with over 16 racers & 23 vipers.this is for a region that had about 73 members. The tuesday nite meeting actually became a habit for many.
Why Monday Or Tuesday? The PCA did extensive research & found that Monday was an off nite in the restaurant industry, so many places would love to have you, There wasnt much going on any way on TV so the nite tended to be well attended once it got going. E bay also states that monday nite is one of the best nites to end an auction for much the same reason, nothing much going on. We had much success ourselves when we had regular monthly meetings on tuesday. The key is REGULAR MEETINGS, The same nite on the same day, so its easy for members to schedual. If its the first tuesday you know its meeting night. It works & has worked & we will be back on a schedual once again. It may take some time to get people back in the swing, but it will be worth the effort.

Weekends, you are competeing with other sports & family events ect. When we had weekend meetings we were lucky to draw 6 to 8 cars.Weekend events will now be posted well in advance so you can all plan accordingly.

Meetings & events are two separate things & there is room for both.

Chad, props to you for stepping up.

yeah, nothing going on monday night and the restaurants are void?

you ever heard of a little game called football?

might be true once football is done, but September to January its not happening. unless you want to do it at fancy restaurants, and then the club runs out of money in three months...

Yes, Monday night football is very important to a lot of people. So, Tuesday meetings would be fine with me. As for weekend stuff, I'd love to do atleast one weekend event each month. That way, guys like me who drive 2+ hours to VCA stuff, don't have to worry about getting home in time to wake up for work the next morning. Most events (races, carshows, etc) are always on weekends, so it shouldn't be a problem getting weekened events planned. We just need to announce way in advance so people can make appropiate plans. Regular meetings can continue to be during the week, since studies show thats when best, but I'd definitly like to get some weekend events planned. Races, carshows, charity events, cruises (mountain runs, weekend in Savannah at the beach/Roebling Road, etc.), etc...we have a lot of possibilities, just need to make them happen!

Thats why my meetings were on tuesday :) Besides the meetings are usually over by nine & what's wrong with watching the game with your viper buddies?

The current administration tried to move it to Wed/thursday with unfortunately terrible participation, prior admins did it on weekends with next to zero participation.

I have received confirmation from David, who has helped plan all of this (thanks!), that ******* will be reserving 15-20 parking spots right in front of the restaurant for Viper only parking! :headbang:

I'm bringing my camera as well, but I'm afraid with the recent time change it may get too dark too soon to get any good photos, but its worth a shot :) . I put my hardtop on this afternoon b/c its getting kinda chilly at night here recently and I dont wanna freeze on the way home :D
