96 BW GTS???

Hey guys,

I was wondering what a 1996 GTS BW would go for? It has 24,000 miles. I have all the maintance records, recorded my miles driven each month and I have kept all the original parts. I am just wondering what a Fair and Conservative price might be. The car is between very good and mint condition.

I have my 96 forsale for 46,500 in the classifieds. I do have 47,000 miles on her. I have an offer for 43k Right now, But i am in no hurry to sell it. Hell I might keep it at this point. IMHO the 96 gts will be one of the (Cars to KEEP). :usa:

Watch out for the TIRE KICKERS to low ball you, I had some clown tell me the car was worth mid 30's. :bonker:

I hope your "b.s." alarm went off loud and clear!

Its really worth no more than someone is willing to pay for it, but so far, they have not dropped into the 30s. Probably won't, either.

BJ Motors (Bernie Katz) has a 96 with like 50 miles on it with plastic still on the steering wheel etc.

Ooops, my bad. I thought they were pretty much the same car. :buttkick:

I was just pointing out that they are in the 30's and some aren't even selling. Sad but true. It's a buyers market right now.

I'm just trying to give Troy an idea of what the market is right now because I want his car. :2tu:

Yes, but you need to take into account that two of the listings had nearly double the miles as the thread starter's car and the 3rd needed repairs (bubbling side sill/bumper damage).

I agree with the both of you. I'm in no way trying to downgrade Troy's car or any other in that matter. I was just using these as an example of the market. Sure, they're different and have higher mileage. He ask for any advice and I'm providing these links so he can guage a good asking price and nothing more. Don't want to step on any toes in the process.

BTW, does this one count??

FWIW I got offered 41K for that car saturday and turned it down

I'm having to put a new clutch in (and throwing in a Fidanza lt wt flywheel) now and am putting an exhaust on tommorow.

Thanks for the info guys. I am tring not to have to sell the car. My wife got accepted into the Doctorates program at a very expensive school here in SA. I am not sure how I will be able to pay for everything. But, for sure, she is my #1 priority. I was just wandering what people thought a good price would be. I will know by summer if I have to sell. I really hope I don't!
