Those of you who have a creampuff who may have gone with a DLM stage 1 or 2 please chime in. I just completed a forged & billet build on a Mystichrome Cobra with about 750rwhp but am ready to move on to the Viper soon. I went way overboard on the last project and would like to do a fairly simple bolt on SC upgrade but worry about the bottom end and pistons. My FE has 2500mi and is bone stock-how have the DLM cars held up without bottom end upgrades??? I'd probably be happy with 625RWP if the stock block can handle it. What do you think???

My DLM car was 965rwhp for close to 4 years trouble free before I decided to go TT and change everything.

Still run the same block I did then, BTW.

DLM is local to you. And he's da' man. go for it!

Doug Levin pioneered supercharging vipers. My car has been on the go and running perfect since it was sc'd by him. Great guy -- great service!!!

You can't go wrong with Doug. If you have any questions you can just ask him, he's honest to a fault. He will let you know exactly what you can expect for power and longevity and then when it comes down to it, he will probably exceed what he told you.

Guys I know Doug and have met and talked with him a few times and I agree he is awesome. My question was focused more on whether any of you had supercharged a non forged internals motor with Doug, and if so what stage setup and how has it held up. The quality of his work is not at all in question. The reason I ask is that I like my FE but realize an early 2000 car or earlier has forged components and may be a better candidate for a boosted application. So if you have a creampuff DLM car- pipe in... we may all learn a little from your experience. Thanks

3 cars built by DLM. Absolutely the best performance cars i've ever had. My gen1 had forged pistons but my other cars cast. Doug knows how to tune them and thats very important. Call Doug he's a great guy and cares about his customers. You have to make an appointment with them.... ALOT of cars being built.
