Thanks, Chris. I tried once more as AviP suggested (same as what I had been doing, though) and it still says:

You have entered an invalid username or password. Please press the back button, enter the correct details and try again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Click here!

You have used 2 out of 5 login attempts. After all 5 have been used, you will be unable to login for 15 minutes.

I can't see where I am missing anything or typing wrong - the emails I receive are correct, and I even cut-n-paste the name and the password (number) so I don't mess up.

I guess I'll take up your offer, since the routine way is now 0-for-3 new password. I hope it works! Thanks.

Would it be possible to fix my user name and delete the "imported_ " from in front of Silver_Snake?

Also, VIN # was added some time ago, possible to change status to Viper Owner?

Thanks in advance,
KC
Weird, the Silver(underscore)_Snake used to work ??!!?? Oh well, guess I'll dump this ID and create a new one - just can't live with "imported" in front of my nick. Somebody might mistake me for a riceburner with a ram air hood.......... :)

What happened to the drop down menu for all of the site sponsors and vendors?

It is coming with the other links (Classifieds, Gallery, etc. - & Sneaky Pete). That was our only major "oops!" on this conversion. And rest assured it WILL be fixed pronto!

If this was how it was before (which I didn't realize), then YES, we can delete the "imported" as it must have inserted itself during the conversion. Sorry I missed that part!

Thanks for the follow-up Y2K, few here realize how much work all of you must be putting into making this conversion work, suprisingly few bugs for so massive a change. A sincere thanks for all your time and effort, it truly is appreciated. Plus, it looks awesome!

Just wanted to make sure you knew your ID is now going to change to back what it was - should keep the same password and all that good stuff. So here we go!

And now we are done. Including Viper Owner in your title. Now join the dang VCA so we can see you at our Kansas City events! :2tu:

I believe we have them set up for VCA Members & verified Viper Owners only, however you may also notice that the "Viper Owner" tags haven't been migrated yet either. Working on it!

It appears that my Viper Owner title did not transfer over. I am also having no luck uploading an Avatar.

I noticed that none of my previous saved posts were transfered with the new site. Is there any way for me to get them back?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!! The website looks GREAT!! :2tu:

Cheers

you now have to be listed as a VCA member (above your avatar) before you can have a signature and an avatar. (new policy).
you ARE a VCA member, right? if you are, drop chris an email so he can get your status corrected.

Testing testing 1 ..2...3..
Love the new look, more modern and up to date.

Ok so i need to upload a new avatar, anyone know how to make it several pictures that rotate like my old one.

Another question ....
Instead of "VCA Member". Can we have our old region names back, for instance for me i am a "Gateway VCA Member" that way we know what region in the VCA your in.

Having a little problem.

Ok when i post a message...I don't see it unless i go and delete "cookies" EVERY single time. Whats up with that? Is it my computer or something?
Fixed your title to reflect your region (sorry that part didn't carry over). As for the latter problem, this is the first I have heard of it. Will check and see if it is a forum setting of some sort, but don't think it is...

As for that link to the home page Chuck - agreed. In the meantime you will find that our crack team of forum scientists have already added links to the main site areas - look up at the top of the page. You have your links to the Gallery, Classifieds, Membership, Marketplace, and How-Tos. Hopefully our banner guys will get that part fixed (Pete & all) and we will be almost there!

Thanks for all the feedback from everybody. If you want your title changed to reflect the region you are in please PM me and I will fix it pronto. Thanks!

Thanks for the fix.

Ok it COULD just be my computer who knows? If it is does anyone know how to fix it?

When i post in a thread (like i'm doing right now) when i click post.BAm it shows right up and i see it. Then i clcik out of the particular thread and ????Don;t see it to the right of the thread. So i click back in and my post is GONE? Is it magic? BUT really i think you all can still see it, i on the other hand have to delete cookies again to come back and THEN i see it. Man this is *** and it's ******* me off lol

Scratch that, it's only until i delete FILES that i can view what i posted. Not cookies, i have to go into internet options and delete FILES and then i can view MY post AND others. GRRR

Jason, no way to really save "favorite" post lists that I know of. I will double check with our programmers, but think it is unlikely. The good news is that this new software has a seriously kick-ass search function, so that should help find them in no time. Then simply hit "Thread Tools" and click "Subscribe to this Thread". I think we have it set to auto-subscribe when you post to a thread as it is. Hope this helps!

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fixed all of my problems I previously had. I can now get into the forums and media (my pictures) with the same user name and password. I haven't been able to get to my pictures in months, maybe longer than a year.

Thanks - Matt

I know you guys are busy with all of these requests but when you get a chance, could you change "VCA Member" above my avatar back to "Illinois VCA Member". I tried doing in user CP but there is no option to. BTW, the new look is awesome!!

I noticed that my favorit threads section is gone. Is there a way that I can get those back in my home page? I had a lot of good reference information that I marked in those threads.

Excellent!! I will manually search for them as indicated.

When you open a thread why does it always start at the bottom? Then you have to scroll up to the top to read it. It was better before. This is like reading a book from the back forward. I am probably doing something wrong???
