I like the new site.

But it lost my avitar and says that I'm an enthusiast instead of an owner.

Sorry - no VIN in your profile and thus cannot verify ownership. And unless you are a VCA member you don't get the avatar I am afraid. Sorry about that!

Same problem here. I'm an owner (2006 roadster S/N 101210), VCA member, and I used to have an avatar. Please help!

Peter - We "upgraded" you to Viper Owner after verifying the VIN, however you are not in our database as a current VCA member. My guess is that your newer car gave you one year of membership and was purchased last year. To renew just call 800-998-1110 and then press "1" at the recording. They will get you all set and then we will too!

Now THAT is FUNNY!!! Joe has the black RT/10 that I drove 3+ hours ONE-WAy to look over for Francisco a couple years ago....how could ANYONE forget THAT!?!?! I wouldn't really call that a friendly reply to someone who has been a Viper owner longer than most. Knowing Joe...he probably thought F-you and moved on. Lets try to FOSTER growth and not accelerate attrition, eh? :) Here's what I would have said.

"Joe...how's that black POS running lately?!?!?! :) I'll hook you up as a Viper Owner....please make sure you update your profile with your VIN as it is now required (but NOT viewable to public eyes). Policy shift to allow only VCA Members Avatars, sorry about that. Yes......a deviation from YEARS of policy....but it had to happen."

To see Joe, a LONG TIME member addressed in such an impersonal manner just isn't like you!!!! Come on, bring back Chris!!! :)

My bad. Remember I am an old fart now and can barely remember my kids names, much less poor ol' Joe. Although the ID rang a few bells, kinda like we heard in the Big Crash of '29. We had seen our first "talkie" motion picture film that year and they started the Academy Awards around that same time. I'm sorry Mr. Mad, what were you saying?

Purchased on 5/6/2006 (paperwork completed) and delivered on 5/16/2006, which means I should still have one month left on my VCA membership, right?

Car has manufacturing date of 03/06, but that should make no difference, right?

Negative Ghostrider......Annual Membership runs the CALENDAR year if I recall correctly. :( However...you SHOULD have received the notice to renew...just like I did....sometime in Nov/Dec I think it was.

Huh.?... Well, I guess I'll get another membership when I purchase the next Viper. So long, until then... (Won't be long ). I'll try to time my purchase for January this time :)
