This will be a first I believe. TWO events on the same day!
We will have a lunch in Towson and the Newark Delaware Assembly Plant Car show and tour on the same day. Take your pick. details re the Newark event will be posted in another thread.

The lunch in Towson will be at the Glory Days Bar and Grill at 1220 E. Joppa Rd Towson MD 21286

Directionsto the Towson Lunch:
From I695 take exit 29B Loch Raven Blvd. Follow Loch Raven Blvd. about 1/2 mile to Joppa Rd. (The Bel Loc Diner will be on yout left) Turn right on Joppa Rd. heading West towards Towson. At the third light, turn right into Radio Park. Glory Days will be straight ahead. Park to the left near the Payce Payroll office (Gus Strakes Company)

Time will be Noon. We will stage for about 1/2 hour then go in to lunch around 12:30pm. We will be eating in their "Bullpen Area which is a private area.

If anyone gets lost Gus Strakes Cell number is 410.615.0009 As his office is next door I think we can assume he will be able to reliably figure out how to get there. And as I have been there before I have a halfway decent chance of making it so my Cell is 410.978.7773

Congratulations has to go out to Mike(Unreelviper) for winning 'Best Post '80's' car at the Newark Assembly Plant car show. There were alot of cars in the show and especially alot of cars in the 'Post '80's' category. There was about 20 PT Cruizers alone.
I know that this was a dual event day for our chapter, but we have to get more vipers up there next year. There were 5 vipers total.
It was a great show and great people. Alot of cars, give-a-ways, a 60th anniversary plant tour, and plenty of people to talk to. This show keeps growing every year and I think it will be bigger next year.
Again, congratulations Mike. :2tu:

Thanks George, I really enjoyed spending the day with you, Steve and Joe. This was a great event and the tour was awesome! I hope that we can get a lot more vipers up there next year. I'll call you this week.

I completely agree, we will make sure not to do a dual event next time and promote this more heavily. I will say the dual event did not hurt it though, if everyone that came to the lunch had gone to the plant instead we would have had THREE more cars at the plant. The lunch turned out to be three cars, me, Gus and one other. Quite surprising. It was not a good day for Vipers to come out and play I guess.
When we do the schedule for next year we will will contact you guys and find out when this thing is next year before we finalize the schedule.
And congratulations Mike!
Do we have a date for next years Plant event
