Valentine one ???

just got mine back from being serviced and updated for POP.

I used to keep it on "logic" mode. but im wondering if now ishould use "advanced Logic" mode???

what do you guys have yours set for ???

LOGIC is a short "L" or right angle.
advanced logic is an uppercase "L"

I have mine in advanced, or the capitol "L"showing. I also have K band turned off as only grocery store and strip malls set it off, we mostly have Lidar or Ka here in my area.

I've always used L. No problems except for POP, and I too just got the upgrade. Still waiting to see if it works.

I just got a brand new one. I'm still trying to figure out all the different beeps and tones. I guess I'll have to read how to disable the K band. I pass too many stores with the automatic doors that set it off. Very annoying. I messed around with the 3 settings, A, Little L and Big L. And so far, I haven't seen a difference. One interesting note. valentine says in the owners manual that cops cant clock you with either radar or Laser from a 90 Degree angle? Does that mean all those times I see a cop sitting in those hidden paths on the highway, they're not able to zap us unless they are somewhat at an angle to get an approach reading or departing reading?

At a 90 degree angle there is no motion relative to the antenna (cosign effect). You're good to go, bro...:)

Mike, I hope you meant "X-band turned off", as X-band is not used, and only K, Ka, and Laser is used in this area. (I have mine set the same way).
