This thing drives like stock cruising around town, never overheated (95 + degrees Vegas weather).

Sorry guys for the delay. I was beat, and my 2 yr old son required my full attention when I got home. I was going to post last night after my boy went to bed, but I fell asleep before him.

636/688 - boost controller turned off (7psi springs), 91 pump gas
793/819 - 12 psi, 91 pump gas
909/867 - 16 psi, 100 octane "pump gas"

The power curve is so smooth, it almost looks like a N/A dyno sheet. Great number!


I can't wait to go TT...I just need the $$$


How much do you have into the setup total....For us guys that have stopped going to the ********** to save the Washingtons. :D

Got a few things cleaned up a bit, so I took a few photos...

I've had the fuel pressure gauge (steering column) with my nitrous set up, it's a close match with the factory gauges. Since the AEM gauges were all digital (i.e. don't match with OEM gauges), I kept them all black for a stealthy look.

I just want you to know that I hate you. That's exactly the Viper that I want, 99 ACR silver/blue.
I don't know if I would want to go high power NA or TT, but I would take it either way. VERY nice car, and congrats!

Enjoy that thing. What type of racing do you like to do? I'd loved to see you do a little road racing and some mile events. 1/4 mi for anything over 600rwhp just isn't long enough. You end waiting so long for a 10sec run.

But my car is slow so it's ok to drag race for now ;)

1/2 or 1 mile , and maybe road racing some time next year. It will take me a while to get used to the power, so I'll take it quarter mile at a time. :drive:

Quick update... Eventhough I knew track prep wasn't going to be great at this event (Midnight Mayhem), I took the car out anyway just for kicks. I did ok, considering it was my first time out with this set up. I'll need to re-learn how to launch the car properly, best shift points, and not get too distracted by the open wastegates. More practice required, that's for sure. Here's a video of a semi-clean run:

Sweet runs. I can *almost* keep up with you on your low boost setting :D

10.98 @ 130mph, is great! nice 60ft of 1.80


My best so far is 11.61 @ 126.97 60ft of 1.922(?) The temp was about 88 F.

I usually get low 1.7's or high 1.6's with the BFG's. Since I now have a new set up, I'll need to re-learn how to drive it properly. Also, not sure if anybody noticed, but I had to feather the gas off the line, because the car got sideways a bit, and I wasn't shifting as fast as some of you guys would. The other passes I made were worse, either I was just blowing the tires, hitting the rev limiter or shifting too soon (got distracted by the open wastegates) on every shift. With a clean pass, I'm sure I get it in the mid 10's with more mph. When I'm used to that setting, I can try more boost. :D

You don't know how many times I've been tempted to buy a 300 shot of nitrous to put on this car(it's built for it). I'm sure making almost 565rwhp + 300 shot would have me hitting 9's. I agree, when I toss these 6 y/o stock tires and get some PS2/BFG's, I'm sure I've got a better number comming.


But I want a CPE TT system :D


Again, congrats. Your car is going to be SICK when you start running more boost. Keep it dirty side down man. If you could bring it down to Bradenton this year, I'd love to see it run.

There was an open TestNTune last night, so I took the opportunity to get more seat time. A lot of fast Bugs were in attendance as they have a big event today (http://www.bugorama.com/vegas.htm).

I only made a total of 3 runs, but good enough to make a couple of decent passes. Since my BFG drag radials were done, I thought I'd try out the "used" set of ET Streets / skinnies I bought last month. Considering this was my first time with the stickier tires, I did a lot better than my first outing a week ago.

very nice! That was an all around good run on low boost! Now lets see what she does on 16psi!!!!! Can you say 9's at 145-150?

what all is done to your rear end? Do you have any upgraded diff or halfshafts?

Check your spark plugs if you haven't already done so, your mph is way down.

How do you figure? I used to trap 110 in the 1/ 8 and 140 in the 1/4 w/ 850rwhp on a blower car (16psi). if he's running 107 and 138 with less power (11psi), that should be in-line, yah?

Good start.
Couple obvious tips:
Higher RPM for a holeshot and 1.3-1.5 60ft.
Start pulling back hard or pushing up for the next shift. This nearly
insures a solid shift as you pop the clutch an lightning fast shifts.
I assume you have the HD half shafts.

Some guys worry about pulling to ******* the shifter before the shift.
You couldn't pull the shifter out of gear under hard acceleration if
your life depended on it :)
