After 10 years of having a totally stock GTS, I'm doing my first upgrade: air filters. I have 25K miles and the old one was just pathetic. Seeing it over the weekend was a shocker to me. It was all caked in oily crap my engine was an asthamatic for sure. :nono:

Anyway, my question is which air filter to go with: K&N or S&B? And from the posts I've been reading so far, the stock airbox is the way to go. :2tu:

I have S&B and can say they fit nice etc... Although I have not really compared them to K&N's the only visual difference I noticed is I think the pleats run differently on them. I am going to guess there really is not much difference between the two as they both seem to use the same type of material etc... :dunno:

Give Jon B a call and see which he recommends.

Jon will mention the Million Mile Warrenty that comes with the K&Ns, and unless you're reaching for the last last .001 second, the K&Ns might just be the way to go.

The K&Ns are a little harder to install, but take the time to seat the seal all the way around and the airbox will go back together easily..

Besides the set of K&Ns in my car, I have two other sets. I don't need a third set. If you want them make me an offer.
