You can find plenty on eBay nowaday. Not sure about quality though. It'll be hit or miss. Everything now seems to be made in China.

Thanks for the awesome link Robert!! I will also be ordering a set from them. Did you notice that it sure looks like AB's Viper on the HID web link?

Cheers
Jason

I will be trying to get a group buy going on here for an HID setup pretty soon. I have them on my 97GTS and they work great. I've had the same brand on my Audi for almost a year with no problems.
These are high quality ballasts and bulbs and this company gives you a lifetime warranty on the ballasts and the bulbs. They are available in the whole color spectrum.
If I can get 10 people I can get the price reduced down to $140shipped or maybe even less!

I have boughten 2 sets from ebay so far. They cost me about $45us plus $45 shipping and Bullsh=t charges.

Jobber in Canada is $375. plus taxes and shipping.

they work awesome in the low beam (nearly as good as highbeam) so I've decided to order a set for my highbeams in the Viper.

I'll get them from ebay again. It seems that all the ones I looked at were made in Germany (expensive) or Hong Kong. Prices are the same, but other than language Hong Kong stuff doesn't get the extra $30 Border Bullsh=t charges.

Send me a pm and I'll send you pics of how I've installed the transformers to the headlight cover.

I bought mine from R&J distributing like the link above posted and i am happy with them. No issues at all with them. I didnt want the BLUEISH color lights like all the hondas so i have them order me a set of 4200K bulbs with the kit. It is the brightest white light and no blue to it at all and i love them.

THe brand of the HID kit is Apexcone and I really trust the distributor (John Sharp). I'm in the process of finishing my writeup for installation on my Viper. As soon as I do that I will give it to him to put on his site and get us a great deal on a GB. I'll let you guys know next week.

Here's quick pic of the difference. I have the 5000K bulbs which give just a slightly bluer hue but the 4300K are what most of the OEM HIDs (BWM,Mercedes,Lexus, etc.) use and is the brightest, whitest light. I just like the slightly bluer tint and there is almost no perceptable loss of light. In the GB you can choose whichever K you want.

BTW, the halogen bulb in the other side is a Sylvania SilverStar which are supposed to look similar to HID and have a very white output. I guess you just can't match HIDs for whiteness and brightness.

Better yet send your pictures with a bit of directions to Y2k and maybe he can put them in the illustrated section. Just an idea.

PM me on the group buy, can you fit both high and low beams?
You can put HIDs in high and low but finding a good place for both ballasts will be the problem. I only added lows since I rarely use my highs, but I've considered doing the highs as well.
