You all are welcome. You see the gentlemen in the driver’s seat in the Reventon, He started the Lambo up for a second or two before the sales man made him shut her down. It was the sweetest sound I have heard next to the Viper of course. :’)

How does the ACR wing look in person? The last picture makes it look like it has a downward frontways slant...is that just the angle of the photo?

The rear wing is adjustable.

Maybe it was set at a fairly aggressive angle for show purposes.

I will be going to the LA car show tomorrow and will give you my opinion after taking a good look at it.

The ACR Looks fantastic. The add ons are very tasteful and teh matte black sidewinder rims are very nice. I wish the red stripe continued down the black area of the rear bumper though.

Amen! The wheels are just wrong:nono: I wouldn't mind having it, so that I can trade it in for 2 Murcielagos and 2 Gallardos :2tu:

Not really impressed with this Lambo at all.

The wheels match the design language of the car.

Overall, looks way too "car-toonish" for my taste.

I would trade it for 14 2008 ACR's and invite all my Viper track rat friends to "private track events".

SSSSE Ya .... Thanks for posting the ACR pictures. Getting more excited by the ACR everyday. I liked the photoshop orange and black but the red and black looks even better! The wheels show well but interested to hear more racer comments about the inspection concern raised elsewhere.

Lambos are great cars but until they start pulling some serious track duty I'll stick with Vipers, Ferraris and Porsches.

Couldn't agree more, Chuck:2tu:

A race between an 08 ACR, 911 RS (or RSR) and Ferrari Scuderia would certainly be very interesting.

Lambos are too big and heavy for the track although they make some great road machines.

This being said, of all the cars I owned over the years, the Miura is the only one I regret selling.

In my heart, nothing can replace it.

Sorry, but I just can't look at a Lambo without hearing Miami Vice music in my head ... the complete opposite of a true track car like the Viper.

Doesn't 'Lamborghini' translate to 'Poseur' in Italian?

Maybe the Gallardo Superleggera might fit the bill as a bonafide track car, but since I have to agree with both of you on the "Poseur" argument, chances of seeing it on the track are probably slim to none and "Slim" is probably tracking his other car, the Viper at the moment......

In the meantime, patiently waiting for my ACR.

The reventon is just the perfect embodiement of my passion for sport cars and american jet fighters.
I like the stealth design it share with the F-22 Raptor.
Poseur or race track queen?
I don't care, it's just beautyfully outrageous.

To be honest I am not sure what the concern is but it was raised elsewhre and it caught my attention. Being new to the site I tried the search tool but could not find it. The concern was that the wheels undergo a pre-race inspection and black could make it difficult to pick up a problem. My question was whether others felt this was a legitimate concern or is it more of a preference of the original writer. :dunno: Other insights/opinions would be appreciated. :drive:

Just got back from the show. The ACR is awesome as expected, but the Pratt Miller C6R street Vette is what the Z-06 should have been. That Vette is the baddest thing I've seen in a Vette. I would love to see a race between the new ACR and that beast. Coincidentally it sports an 500 inch LS based engine with 600 HP. Very wicked and pricey, approx. 200K. The fact that this car is made by Pratt Miller gives it some serious cred. Katech builds the motors. Detroit is probably suffering from the worst ecomomic crunch in it's existence, yet is producing the most wicked performance cars in it's history.

Howdy Folks,

I went to the SF car show, and stuffed way in the back corner, was an 08 Viper vert, real nice. Also, there was no Dodge Challenger, the nice Dodge lady said it was in Vegas. I was told by the Chevy lady, (cute, but not as cut as the Dodge Lady:heart: ) that the new Camaro would be there by Sunday. She mentioned it would be the concept Camaro, not the production version.

Lots of other stuff there, but, aside from the ** slot car tracks off to the side, I think near the Hyundai area, (Yea got some track time in) and the exotic room, with Lambos, Jags, etc. It was sort of like being in your average parking lot. Mostly had a good time, got lots of walking in.
