I just posted my ad in the VCA classifieds: ViperClub Classifieds - Dimondback Hood - Powered by PhotoPost Classifieds

This is a brand new diamondback hood, i just had all the necessary body work done to it to make it PERFECT and painted. I'm parting the car out so this must go. I will sell for #6500 or your stock hood and $2500. This hood fits perfect and is very good quality product.
Please call for any questions.

Wow!!! What a stunning car! Why are you parting it out???
I'd love one of those hoods at some point... Shipping to the UK could be tricky though... :(

I am in Washington state, any ideas about how this could be done?
My hood is in great shape, it has a few minnor paint imperfections but needs no body work.

When I got mine, I had the guy that does all the Ferrari of Atlanta paint work do my paint work. He said the hood was built incredibly well and he didn't have that much to do in order to make it perfect. 3 coats of primer and 4 of paint made it look smokin' hot. Even for silver!!!

someone should buy this hood. Like now. they are really quite awesome.

as long as it hasnt been repaired and doesnt need any repairs paint condition doesnt really matter.

Joseph,

Do you have any pictures of your car with the new hood?
