I have a set of Zen's taillights in excellent condition for the SRT. I do not need them as my Street Serpent uses the coupe taillights. I tried to contact Zen a number of times to see about a swap, but never heard from him - so they are for sale.

The set of tail lights that I have are for the vert only - coupe uses the GTS style tail lights. I do not have the back up lights.

Rocket22 what are you looking to get for them? Also if you need rear coupe tail lights, i recommend contacting xvipers.com. Mike is an awesome guy and has great prices for used, great condition parts. I emailed him at 10pm and heard back from him within minutes. I called in the morning and had an hour long conversation with him. Within minutes the parts were being shipped.

He is a true Viper guy. Cant go wrong with xvipers.

I don't get it? Why would you want to reduce the light coming out of the lamps by tinting the tail lights when the idiots on the road may run in to you!:dunno: I want to make them brighter!!:2tu:

i think black tail lights look cool, but let me share my own personal experience.
i had the tail lights of my zo6 painted black to match some other paint work i had on the car..(velocity yellow with black hood cowl, roof, and rear deck and rims)
when i put them on and started the car i noticed the lights were a bit hard to see in direct sun. i had my buddy drive behind me and tell me what he thought.
he said, "i can see them, but its certainly not as visible. now can some ***** or a little old lady see them? i dont know...."
i took them off that day. to me its a safety issue. plus, if u get rear ended good luck collecting after the guy says he didnt see ur brake lights....

We wouldn't black out the taillights at all, definitely need them for people who follow so closely to see the brakes....we DO on the other hand have the dark tinted headlamps...which to be honest? THEY DO INHIBIT driving at night...we don't drive much at night, so it's almost a non-issue...we LOVE the look, so we've kept them on...I think Blue Bat's smoky color is a much better alternative than the dark tint. Just my .02 and experience. ~juli

The great thing about my overlays is that the reflectors are still quite visible. Not too dark!
