Since my "Creative Brain" is about the size of a small almond, I hesitate to give my 2-cents worth (since it's probably overvalued): It seems that the new C6 styling is what is moving more toward the Viper's styling when it comes to the front fascia. For example, the teardrop designed headlights have been the mainstay of the Viper front fascia since it's inception whereas the C5 and before had concealed lights and only at C6 did they morph into a similar teardrop design. And this component of the front designs tends to draw the eyes. The grill opening of the C6 again is a departure from the C5's and approaches that of the Viper's (which has been maintained but refined) The Viper's smoothed contour has hardened somewhat and perhaps this is the Viper's attempt at convergent evolution with the Vette.
Damn I miss my car. Its only been a week and a half after I dropped her off for paintwork and a Belanger/HF cat install. Sigh.

The only thing I do not like about this feature is the picture. The newer Viper styling is morphing into a Vette and the picture really shows it. Sorry, but just my opinion.
A link to that article was posted somewhere on here last month, although they say the Vette is morphing more into the Viper.
Anyway, I have a hard time telling them apart anymore myself. One day recently I was driving on the interstate to work and I saw two "Vettes" with Michigan plates approaching from behind. I studied them in my mirror off and on for a minute or so, wondering what version they were. It was only after they eventually passed me that I noticed "Viper" on the rear fascia.
