I did let my daughter take the Viper to homecoming under strick rules. First, I went for a test run with her date to make sure he could drive it OK (it's suprising how many kids have never driven a stick, but this kid was good with it). Then, I followed a few cars behind for the drive to the school, took the keys, left, came back, returned the keys and followed them home.
Hey, there was no way it was going to be a "here ya go" situation for some teenage boy I did not know, right? I don't think they minded having those rules at all.

I know how you feel. They do grow up fast! It seemed my daughter just graduated from HS, and then a couple years went by and she got married, 3 more years went by, and now we have a 7 month old grandson! She's my baby girl! It just doesn't seem possible. Cherish your moments with your daughter....she will be gone soon, and you'll wish you'd have done more together!
