Yes. I believe it's a UGR car that was bought from the original owner thinking they'd make a killing on the car and it's been on and off ebay for at least 6 months! I think someone on the alley said it could be picked up for around $102k. But you could pretty much buy one and do it yourself for that! I could see that car bringing $90k, but anything north of that would be a stretch imo. Unless the guys at UGR were selling it themselves, then it might fetch 6 figures. But something has always seemed fishy to me about that car...just my opinion...

The owner of the car traded it in to 8887 Exotic on another sports car but said that this car was nothing but problems if I recall correctly. Check on the alley, there should be a story on it.

If you are seriously interested in the car I would call Underground, the fact that the poster above has 9000 posts does not quailfy him as the worlds Viper resale authority.

Lee, I'm not looking to buy a car, I wasjust commenting on how nice it looks (wheels, lowering, color)

A friend of mine here in NC bought the car new and had it fabricated by someone other than Underground Racing. He subbed out each part of the build. We did the engine short block and tuned the car with a Vec 2. We had to redo some of the turbo system to get the turbo's high enough to return the oil without a pump. It was never a ground up Underground build.

When the owner had it in Vegas there was a problem with the heads that were done by Fox lake. It dropped a seat and cause damage in the engine. Although not responsible, Underground Racing rebuilt the motor and fixed the head's free of charge. It was just under $5,000 to repair. He had someone in Vegas do the labor. The only other problem that I know of is the Vec 2 having problems and it not driving like a 100% stock Viper.

They are having trouble selling the car because it needs to be tuned. I have offered them a great deal to update the car to today's standards mainly a AEM and an in tank fuel system. The car would be great with those changes but they have declined and are just going to let the new owner deal with it if it ever sells.

There is a good lesson here in having one tuner do the total build including tuning. Anyone have any other questions feel free to give me a call..

Thanks, Kevin

Just going by what the old owner (Denstoyz) stated on the other site and Underground just explained what I was stating. Get over it.
