I just got my ACR rim back from repair after some curbing issues, it look so wicked I just had to share this pic, also added Michellin 295/35ZR18 PS2's, I am going to smoke the rears off (will post pics) before buying the rears.

Do it, they look ssssooooooooo good

My wheels all need to be refinished badly (if I could find the previous owner of this car, a thorough ****-whoopin' would be in order)...my thing is that these wheels are sooo expensive and getting hard to come by that chroming a set is almost like ruining them....but it does look soooooooooo good.

I had Green's Automotive here in Vancouver , B.C. Canada do the repair and they sent it to Plate Corp. in California to do the chroming.

Chrome ACR wheels are the best! The always look amazing. The only downside is cleaning.
Acutally cleaning chrome is a lot easier than high polish or anything that is just polished period. BUT the downside on chrome is that if you curb these again and try to get them repaired, your going to have to rechrome the whole wheel and that will just make the wheel a lot weaker. Chrome does look good though:2tu:

Yeah tell me about it. I park FAR away from curbs now, if I even park near one.

I think they look better chromed. I guess it's just preference, but I figured it would kill the value of the wheels if it becomes a collector car.

Just replaced all the wheels on the GT2 and must admit they look so cool but in the UK it seems impossible to get wheels chromed and on the GT2 and ACR being so collectable in the future think you need a set of stock wheels to keep the value up.

They do look so nice though.

I chromed mine when I had my ACR. I think they look great! Probably my favorite wheels one a GTS, but I wish they were bigger.

Mine are peeling:omg:

Where is the place to get this done. Nobody here will touch them.
"Probably have to send them the California" is what I heard from both local platers but they couldn't say where:smirk:

You could paint the ACR wheels chocalate brown and they would still be the best looking Viper wheels around,I am partial to the original but you cant beat them no matter how they are finished.

Got a spare one (with no curb rash) in the classifieds :). It has a slight bend on the lip only, would be repaired for free from california crome with a 'crome job'... but since I have only 1... no point in sending it out for chroming.

PM me, you can have it for $500 and I pay ship :)
