Yeah I have bought parts and taken the car there.(It's only 7 hours away).Gone to the gatherings. Bought extended waranties through him. But why didn't I get my wife's Duango through him? My ram truck? etc. Should have ordered through Tator's because its only 7 hours away (at Viper speeds). Oil change and waranty service you can get anywhere. Next purchase is through Tator's. Re: Tartor's .Are we doing enough?

Thanks Bruce for a good post!

Same thing here... Got a 300 and a Commander.
Maybe Chuck could have done both. I think we should keep Chuck in mind, it's a discrace what Dodge is trying to do with one of their oldest dealerships. Thats one thing.

The other thing is that its Chuck.:usa:

Just a suggestion but you might want to change the title from Tartor's to Tator's.

Read the Ward's article. Dodge needs to realize that Tator could be a good representative for the company, if marketed correctly.

There is a petition you can sign in the SRT forum to help Chuck. Not sure why it isn't posted here also.

Stupid fingers. Not drunk .Honest!

See Tartors. I meant Tators. Was agitated. Will check spelling against Tator Dodge T-shirt in the future. GTS Bruce

Chuck Tator has the best customer service of anyone that I have dealt with. The only dealership that is still owned by the original family should be turned into a huge marketing campaign. Chrysler trying to muscle Tator's does not bother me so much, because it is the corporate side talking. However, seeing the only remaining original family Dodge dealership, brought a tear to my eye. That is hard to do! Use it to sell cars. Just remember, if that is done, leave Chuck alone so he can get the work done his way.

As soon as I get a job I'm marching up to Tator's and ordering a Charger and ditching my 530i. There you go: Chuck has inspired me to get off of my lazy *** and get a job! My wife will get rid of her X5 soon and probably shoot for a Durango or Caravan and will be up to see Tator too. If Chuck and his crew didn't exist, I wouldn't buy anything from Dodge. Even though he's an hour away...its well worth the trip. By far this man and his crew have shown more respect and a high passion for excellence more than all of the dealers I've ever used combined and then some. Not to mention the fact that Chuck and Rob are down to earth human beings you naturally want to be around with. Tator's Dodge should be the benchmark for all dealerships. Talk about a classic case-study on customer service, know-how and treating customers with respect. The Tator story should be studied and written up in a Harvard Business Review and be required reading at Harvard Business School. After having the pleasure of interacting with Chuck, Rob and Jr. I detest the thought of ever walking into another dealership ever again.
