both are good...Motons require more work to install due to the remote canisters....but look cooler since you can see the canisters if you mount them somewhere where they are visible.....in my opinion. I'm pretty sure the motons are better but don't really have any way to back that statement other than the fact that they are what I have on my car :D

The Motons are allot better than the standard KW shocks. The KW's that are used on the new ACR are not the same as what people have been buying. They are full aluminum bodied and VERY expensive $5300 a set no springs. Are these better than the Motons? Probably better than the Club Sports but not by much, and about the same as the Moton Motor sport shocks which are about the same price as the KW's.

I'd like some experience comments on KW, Moton shocks, ... ect.

Can anyone enlighten me as to the differences and advantages between the various types?

2008 application most important to me.

Do all need to be refilled(POWERTANK - CO2 Air Systems)

Thanks!
The Motons or Penske shocks are FAR better then the KW's. If you are going to spend this much money (+$3k), you might as well get the Motons or Penske's. This is especially true if you plan on tracking your car:drive:

Dialogue is needed to address your needs. It is easy to say 'the most expensive is the best' but what do you need? We carry them all, and have stock of 3 brands for SRT10; Please call, too much to type. Monday AM is bad....late PM any day is OK

I sport KW Variant 2's. Been very happy with them :).

I'll second that, the KW's are a good value. And they don't leak like the others mentioned.
If your not going to adjust them at every track or only track a few times a year save the money and get some track time. :D

We use all these shocks and each of these products have benefits depending on your use, year model and budget. There are many things to consider when making this upgrade, please feel free to call us.

I guess my point was if you are going to spend the money to do this type of upgrade the Moton route, IMHO gives the best of both worlds. In the end the ride quality achieved with the Motons is one of the most significant improvements you can make on a Viper. The "side benefit" is they are wonderful track shocks "also".

You are spending money either way I just feel that the Motons offer the "best" value for your money at the end of the day, but I'm not trying to sell you either you asked for information and did not call to buy.

Motons work well on my 06 Coupe. Nice ride on the street and they really corner well at the track. Mark and the crew at Woodhouse did a great job on the install and alinement. :)

The Variant 2 has rebound dampening and the V3 has rebound AND compression dampening. The valving is a bit more aggressive leaning toward track cars.

I have Motons on three Vipers - and they all work very well. One set is their track version, the other two are club sports.

Service is good if required and maintenance is minimal.
