What is the best way to tint the taillights? I want to black them out without it looking cheap. Do they make a good quality film or 3M type stuff or should I have them painted?

I also used a set from Blue Batmobile on this site. I got red outs to cover the yellow turn signal on the rear. They are vinyl so you just use a standard hair dryer to form them around the light for a clean look.

Last time I checked, he was a no-go for SRT-10 Verts.

Also - if you use film, it's my belief that the little lettering on the lenses needs to be ground off in order for the film to lay flat. It's for this reason I gave up on the idea of tinting since I didn't want to do anything that couldn't be un-done.

i got mine done by having them painted .... my painter used clear with a little black in it .... looks great. When light illuminate, they exactly like stock brightness, and when they are off, they are completely blacked
