I passed three squad cars this morning with their radar detectors sticking out of their cars but the V1 did not even make a sound. It usually give me plenty of time to slowdown. I just know when to slowdown today cause I know where they usually are. I pass the tolls, banks and mall and the V1 did make the false alarm. I think it is time to give V1 a call. Anyone have same experience? By the way the V1 had save me so many times..... and I can not drive without it 
I live in Maryland and have encountered the very same thing. I have received a ticket with the v1 on, in a head on situation with a state trooper traveling in the opposite direction. I also noticed that when I pass the stationary radar detectors with the flashing readouts some units do not trigger the valentine. I have called Valentine and was told my unit is up to date for software.
