In the Market for Orange 08 ACR

Hello I know I could do a search with my local dealer but I would like to see if there are any on the market through this forum before I do that! Ok I have a SSG coupe but I would be very Very interested in an 08 Orange ACR with blacked out center paint, or a SSG coupe with the aero pkge, Solid or with stripes.
Anyone have one or both of these let me know! I do not think these colors will be out in 09!

Red brake calipers really clash with orange car.Does not look good in my opinion.

For $400 to $600 or less that can be changed, (caliper Color) to Orange or Black!

I doubt you will find a SSG with the aero package as it was not offered early on. I suppose there might be a slim chance since they did have a later run of SSG but that would be a rare snake,Good Luck

Wrong. There have been SSG's with the aero package. I have pics of two.

I have seen the Aero pkg on the SSG with black stipes it looks GREAT!

Funtional too, just ad Motons and Eurotech rotors and I have Sidwinders with extra tires already. There you have your street friendly ACR. Just a little less down force but a little more top end! :2tu:

Now who has this car for sale is the big question!

The SSG with the aero package pictured in this thread is still for sale (at least it was as of a couple of weeks ago). I know because I almost bought the car before deciding on a black / red with the aero package. The car is (was)at LaFontaine motors in Saleen, Michigan.

I never did post pictures of my mine so here it is

That aero-package SSG was sold during VOI-10..Dealer told me it was shipped to Oregon last week.. Stickered for 102,***.... :omg:

Yes a bunch of money but if you think about it my SSG/Blk. razors nav was just shy of 94k and the aero package cost 8k which is insane so 102,*** seems correct...There cant be many SSG/Blk. aero package cars out there so someone bought a real rare car..Now, I dont know what he paid :dunno:

When I ordered my aero pkg it was $6900.00, $1700.00 for navagation $3000.00 for stripes, razors $700.00. Then I decided to take one off the lot not wanting to wait, and ad what I wanted as I go, my mistake. Dealer sold to me at invoice $90850.00. I may just give up on the SSG or Orange and order new 09. Dealer will sell at invoice to me again I am a repeat
customer.
I am in upstate NY near Niagara Falls!

I have spoken to chuck many times he is a great guy! If am going to get what I want for what I want to pay it will have to be in someones inventory. Chuck does not carry much inventory. I love his dealership! They better not try to take it away again.
It will have to be in inventory as SSG and Orange Vipers will not be offered in 09.
I wish I could make the Orange County Choppers run with everyone, but not going to work out. I would love to meet everyone on the east side of the State.

I hear ya on what's in inventory, it's why we bought our '08...it was at a local dealership. If we'd ORDERED a Viper, it'd have been of course thru Chuck.
I'm glad you've spoken with the Wizard, and no doubt yes, he's awesome! :headbang:

We all love his dealership and fought for it, so yeah, it BEST stay there~!
We are also unable to make the Orange Chopper Cruise...we are actually unable to make most of the events, as they're pretty far for us, tho not as far as for you!
Hopefully someday (maybe next year's TatorToga?) we'll be able to meetcha!

While I never seriously negotiated with them since I decided to go with the black/red they offered the car to me for $99 and yes it had an MSRP of $102,140. The last communication I had with them was August 19 it sounded like they were very anxious to move the car at that point. They had it since about May. I figured they would probably move it at VOI.

Jeff - In case your interested Buhler in NJ has a Viper Very Orange with an aero package that just arrived in the last couple of weeks. I believe MSRP is $101 and change on that car but they seem like they will deal on their Vipers.

I do like the orange with stripes better than the ACR blackedout center too! :2tu:

This price is way out of line. :crazy2:

I was at my local dealer Saturday and we went over the 09 ordering for a new ACR Graphite with black center and red driver stripe, with nav. They are willing to sell this to me a LIST which is well below 99k.

Dealears asking premiums over MSRP can choke on them as far as I am concerned. :nono:

Any people buying them are just as crazy! :dunno:

Unless there is something about the specific viper you just cant get anywhere else I do not know why anyone does it!! :dunno:
