Well, I decided to take the plunge after all. I decided to get the kit for the stock wheels, 14's upfront and 13's in the rear. SRT Calipers all around, Brakeman#3 pads, and EBC dimpled and slotted rotors.

Here's the conversion as a short pictorial. A big thanks to Dave (Dave's Big Brakes), JonB (Online Shopping - Home) and fellow VCA members Bob and Jim for doing all the heavy lifting during the conversion. I just didn't trust myself cutting off those ears.

Get her up!

I used Roe's 14" lightweight on front and 13" lightweight stop-techs on rear. Didn't like the black calipers that much and really didn't like the red so I "caliper painted" them blue. Got 16,000mi on them so far this year. I started with EBC Greens and switched to REDS after my first trip.

I agree that it's a great upgrade to our cars! Should be done to all Gen 1 and 2 cars.

PhoenixGTS,

Dave's big brake kit has all the parts, mounting brakets, SS lines, spacers, ...
Check out his website for details: Big Brake Kits

You can move the front to the back to save $$$, but I wanted the same red looking calipers both front and back.

Dave's kit has multiple options.

After cutting the ears, the adapter mounts to the rear of the spindle and provide new mounting points for the new calipers.
