I will be there but hope they give a more advance notice next time of the dates for planning purposes. Who is Jimmy? Jimmy Johnson? He is the man this year.
I like the idea of Vegas. We have plenty of room and lets be honest our track is awesome!! I don't care where its at or what shape the economy is in I will be there. It was really a big deal for us to go to VOI10 but we bit the bullet and took time off work and put it on the credit cards I will still be paying for it when its time for VOI 11 Im sure but I don't care its worth it. Ill be there at any cost... except selling one of the vipers.

Just discovered this thread. Jimmy will be there if at all possible. Jimmy is on the east coast, so he hopes it's not extremely far away.I wouldn't miss it for the world if Jimmy is there!!!

VOI is Viper Owners Invitational and usually happens every 1 1/2 to two years apart.
The last one just happened in Detroit in August/ September of 2008.

I'm still bloody pissed that I could not get my financial stuff in line for VOI X as that is the one that I really had not wanted to miss Hopefully VOI 11 will work out this time.. I'd better start saving ASAP as soon as I have bought a new car.

I think VOI 11 is just something that hast to happen!! Even if we all have to pay more and get less... its just great to have an event thats all viper all the time and to meet so many viper nuts from all over the country/world. I can understand that there is a lot of cost involved with putting on such a big event... track, ballrooms, transportation, and everything else they do for us.

After attending the last 4 VOI's, and hearing the overwhelming talk about an 11th VOI event......they are usually "switched " from west to east to west, etc. (if you will).....With VOI 10 in Detroit, it will probably be more centrally located or even more to the west than the east. Denver......the weather is too unpredictable.....I lived there for 35 years, rains EVERY afternoon in the summer and that takes out track time........the same goes for KC......very diffuclut weather to predict.......having been in Nashville and had to put up with 6" of rain at VOI 7.....please not in the midwest!!! With the available tracks, and more predictable weather, I like the idea of Salt Lake, Vegas or Phoenix. Just my 2 cents.........today we went on a Viper Cruise and Poker Run from the Valley of the Sun to Prescott (5,300 ft) had lunch and came back home (about 200 miles round trip!). The weather was spectacular.......low 80's in Phoenix, and mid 60's in Prescott and not a cloud in the sky......my kind of weather!!!

I like the idea of Phoenix and love VEGAS!! As far as Salt Lake, they should build an overpass over that place!!!

Time for a trip east, we have been south Dallas west Vegas north Detroit, the last 3 VOI's so why not North or South Carolina or Florida.
