Will the JET-61610 skip-shift eliminator work for the SRT coupe?

I need to install this on my coupe, the skipshift is annoying. Is the part the same as that on the Gen II (61610)? For those who have installed it on their GenIII is the solenoid still on the driver's side of the transmission? Can you access it without removing the metal plate?

And for those itching to type, "step on the accelerator more," you haven't been stuck in Atlanta traffic before. Sometimes, you just want to be able to shift into second while tooling along in traffic!

Just spend some additional money and get a tune which will not only give you a nice seat of the pants bump in power, it will eliminate the skip shift and the car will run much cooler.

I've already had two supercharged vipers (Roe and Paxton, 836rwhp), so the tune for 30rwhp doesn't seem like it's worth the hassle of possibly voiding my factory warranty. Any idea of the skip shift part number?

Not motivated to install any tune (SCT, DC, etc.), if I did anything it would be to install another supercharger.

Does ANYONE know the skip shift part number for the Gen III? A lot of people think it's the same, but I'd rather hear from someone who has installed it first hand or knows for sure.

Yes the 60610 will fit. So will Hurst Part# 155-0100 C.A.G.S.SKIP SHIFT KIT. Solenoid is on the driver side and you will have to remove the belly pan which takes less than 5 minutes. Total time for the job is 15 minutes on a lift. :drive:

Did you mean to type "61610" or are you saying that "60610" will work as well?

I need a lift, which means I need a different garage with higher ceilings. Part = $30. New garage + lift = $50k. Let's see if I can justify this to my wife ;)

Summit Racing has the 61610 for $30, a little cheaper than the Hurst kit which is around $37. As for directions, I thought it was simply plug and play on the connector closest to the front driver's side? Anything special beyond that?
