1282 miles since July. We did have an idle/stall problem in the beginning. Haven't experienced it yet (in stop-n-go traffic only). Totally enjoyable Viper to drive~! A must-have: MGW short-throw shifter, which we have. We drove it last Sunday right into snow squalls...turned around and came back...drat...end of season for us (when salt flies, that's it!)... on a trickle-charger now and inflated the tires to 35psi.

42,000miles. I've put the last 22,000miles on since Aug 2007. My Supercharged GTS has been from Ohio to BC. All over BC, Alberta and Wash. for weekend trips and HPDE. Then the wife and I drove it cross-continent again to Detroit with a half dozen Wash. state VCA people. Toured/Touristed on the way back from Detroit VOI X.

Planning on trip to Macedo Motorsports for Nitrous hook-up/tune next summer.

I bought the car because it was highly modified and have since then modified nearly all of the rest of it. Nearly perfect now.

Is that enough to make it into an '08?

I expected to have some little problems with a low-volume, hand-built car ('08 ACR with 3,500 miles):

I had something burn off of the driver's side cat as soon as I got it hot (after the 500-mile break in). It smoked quite a bit...

I removed the right-rear wheel for the first time today (got some grass in the bead after an off-track excursion), and one of the lug nuts was cross-threaded. I'm going to have to get a new stud and nut.

There is an annoying squeak coming from the interior that I can't locate. Its done this since day 1.

For a few days, the electronic trunk release wasn't working. I have no idea why, but it just started functioning again.

9500 miles on my car since February:

2 headlights replaced (condensation build-up)
Trim panel behind seats on order (warping)
Rattle on the defroster vent (added insulation)
Squeaking noise at low speed (assumed a bushing the first time, not yet fixed).
There's a popping noise on deceleration from 40mph, turning in and releasing the clutch (not resolved yet)

3 oil changes....a million smiles

One hasty decision to purchase that I don't regret. Definitely my favorite car in the world. :2tu:

About 4200 mies and the car still puts a huge smile on my face. Had the reflash done as a precaution but never had any symptoms.

2100 miles and the turn signal switch will not cancel since day one, Tire pressure monitoring system is malfunctioning the warning light stays on all the time also since day one. I am taking it in this week to get looked at. Other than that it is rock solid.

I forgot about that! We had that problem as well (drivers' side needed replacing, the original one WAS warped)...but that's a pretty minor thing. LOVE your car, City! :headbang:

Got mine mid-sept 2300 miles now.
Since temps have dropped to 40F, when I turn the wheels a lot for parking or making a sharp 'U' turn I feel something like the rear diff locking/unlocking (gear lube/friction additive?). What I find strange is that I sometime feel as if this would come from the front wheels too, no diff there!
Simply love the car, tires dont stick at all in the cold, can get entertaining if not carefull.

1720 miles since 12/05/07....New tranny (excessive gear rattle)....Vibrating power steering hose which the dealer replaced and did not correct the problem...SRT came to the dealer and replaced everything and after 35 miles it started again....Vibration causes a loud high pitched hum that is louder than the engine...Anyone experience this? Really like the car and don't believe I could part with it.......

4,300+ miles and all is wonderful! This baby really flies-much faster than my '05, believe it or not, even though I had full Bellangers and Dan Cragin reflash on the '05, while the '08 is stock except for MGW shift lever and knob, plus roll bar and 6 point seat belt on driver's side. The roll bar and seat belt result from my highway accident last year when a piece of steel flying through the air nearly hit me. Better safe than sorry....This is an awesome car, and much more user friendly than the generations which preceded it.
