What is the weirdest/coolest/craziest story

Our car club the Midnight Sun Street Rod Assoc. was asked to provide some convertibles for the AK state fair parade...We drove cutie Sweet 16ers in our cars. After the parade we were in the parking lot and the campaining future Governor walked up to me and said "WOW, cool car!!!! would you give me a ride" and I think she wanted a photo shoot....any way it was fun....Think we both got a lot of miles from the pictures..I don't think my wifey likes them though.. I was a lifetime Alaskan but as you can see moved to Oregon 6 months ago... Sure don't miss the winters...go'in golf'n in the morning..

Two stories... both told here before.

1. On my way to Monterey for a Laguna Seca weekend with the Viper... pulled into a hotel that happened to be hosting the GM technology dept. meeting. On hand parked outside was the new (at the time) V-series caddies, and Vettes. Upon seeing me pull in with the Viper, the idiot hotel staff thinks I'm with the event and waves me to pull up next to the other cars! The crowd goes silent as they drooled over the Viper while the GM engineers snarled in unison! :rolaugh:

2. Was in a parking lot next to a Ferarri dealership that was in the process of celebrating their 50th anniversary. 30 or so Ferarris zip by as I wait in the lot. When they were all gone, I pull out behind them.

Turns out it was just a pause while another 30 or so Ferarris pulls out BEHIND me putting me in the middle of a Ferarri rally/parade! As I slowly drive the next mile on this single lane road, I hear people cheering the lone Viper on and overhear some saying mine was best looking car in the parade! :lmao:

All the while, the police ****** won't let me get out of line as I feel the heated glares of the ferarri owners. When we finally get on the freeway, I break free and get out my cam to record the caravan....

Do the stories have to involve Vipers? Before I bought the Viper, I was out on a Saturday enjoying the beautiful weather in my convertible Eclipse. Top down, hat backwards, music cranked up. I come to a stop sign, wait on a few cars and pull out, making a RH turn. I noticed a broke down Mercedes on the side of the road. Then a broke down SUV. Then a broke down Camaro. Then some more broke down cars. I think to myself, "why are all these nice cars broke down on the side of the road"??? Then, I get this horrible feeling in my stomach....I look in the mirror and my mouth drops. All the cars behind me have their lights on. The cars aren't broken down! They are pulled over out of respect for the FUNERAL PROCESSION that I had jumped in the middle of! :omg:

I made the 1st available turn into a sidestreet and tried to keep my head ducked the rest of the way home incase someone recognizes me as "that **** who pulled into the funeral procession" :buttkick:

I guess we all can relate to all the above stories,but one of my deals that made me feel goose bumps involves one of my best friends. Just after I bought my car I took it to his business to take him for a ride. He would not ride with me, but asked me if he could "feel" the car. I said sure ,go ahead. He ran his hands all over the lines of the car and said this is the most beautiful car I have ever seen. By the way , my friend David is blind.. And he still wont ride with me.

At the 2008 Mopar Nationals I had a guy ask if he could take pics with the car, I said go ahead.

Then he proceeded to put his hands on my rear bumper, and start ******* my tailpipes while his girlfriend took pictures and video of this! :omg:

And he did this infront of the Viper tent with everyone watching! :omg:

Glad it made him happy.....
