Actually the gold will be very, very, very rare, but there will be black and white ones coming later.

The Coupe will be the only Coupe ever done in Gold !!

No, a gold Viper with black stripes. There will be some black ones done with gold stripes later, but the Barrett-Jackson , Hurst Viper will be the only gold Coupe ever done.

Great advertising for everyone. I wish it could be a 750hp Hurst Viper, but I guess those days are gone.

Quickest production car ever built was the Hurst Hemi 'Cudas and Darts of '68, '69.

It's all good. I'll look forward to watching it sell on BJ next month.

The Hurst Challenger at SEMA looked great in white w/ gold stripes. The only thing most people chuckled about was it being an automatic. Hurst shifter car is an auto? At least the Viper is manual!

Great! All the Hurst Viper needs is that little lettering under the Hurst side emblem on the Challenger above, then she is perfect.

I like it and am interested to see what the inside leather looks like. Hopefully it is more than just seats covers.

That stripe looks hideous and since when is a Viper a Road Runner, with a pistol grip? :dunno: I might be in the minority but I'm not biting this flop.

So what's the point? It is what it is, Been like that for 50 years. The way I look at it is the more types of the car that I love the better! To me there are NO ugly vipers.

^ speed trannies come in '09 Challengers *** not 08s. SEMA must have been an 08 car.

Hurst has been making automatic shifter for quite awhile now.

Trivia question: What was the first limited production Dodge which was painted in two-tone black and COPPER? Answer: 1958 Dodge Regal 2dr hardtop. It is still a very, very rare car to find anywhere, and it was very fast for its day. Transmission options were 3 speed auto (torqueflite) or 3 on the tree stick shift. I hope the black/gold Hurst Vipers look as good as that old Regal in its day. ( yes, I'm old enough to remember those cars; we had a '58 Custom Royal (ugh) 4 door sedan which was very fast for its day, and unbeaten on the street.) This Hurst Viper should be very collectable, regardless of color scheme. Good job Woodhouse!

I thought the pistol grip shifter in the Hurst Challenger at SEMA was WAY too big/tall for the console. My two cents. Otherwise I really liked the concept. Love the Viper. Kudo's to the Woodhouse folks.

I have a 68 Dart with a 440 engine 1 of 48 Hurst installed and built for Mr. Norm at Grand Spaulding Dodge in Chicago. Gotta love the Hurst performance history now hooked up with Woodhouse and Dodge.

Assuming production continues, is Dodge going to do a Hurst Challenger? I like that combo best in that car. Damn, I would have to buy one.

I wondered why Dodge initially announced black as an 09 color, and then it disappeared. I thought it might be a VCA special edition or a final edition color. Now we know.

I wonder if you could order a Hurst ACR Viper? :D
With the combination of the Hurst interior, wheels, paint, and the ACR's brakes, tires, aero...
Raffle car anyone?

You want a Hurst ACR Viper, give me a call, we can make it happen.

There will be Verts, and more, it is just the spy photo ( leaked ) and there will be others next year. Most will be ordered to customer specs with the full package including Motons and Corsa along with the Hurst items.

Like the Series 5 Challengers, they can be done to the customer's desires with full documentation, etc.
