I will stick with stock wheels for now and get them refinished. Most likely in matte black or gunmetal. Wanna do some photoshops first to see what it will look like. Long term plans are either iforged Astras with matte black centers and polished lips, or I'm tempted to try out 360Forged wheels, though I'm not sure they make any wheels for the Viper.

Their great guys(local here in south florida), they had a set of wheels I was going to test fit but never went down to try them on. They make wheels for the viper.

DO IT!

I like the matte black finish. Reminds me of a the color hood you may see on a lift off hood on a Roadrunner from the late 60's. One of the best custom painted Vipers I have seen.

Interesting combo. Since the paint is toned down with satin, the wheels look a bit too bright. H wheels are ok, but I think the design is too busy. I can only predict you'll sort it out since your past cars looked great.

Glad to read you got another Viper Bat.

Bat, I know for a fact that 360 Forged makes wheels for the Viper. Im sorry, but I wont be a fan of the new SRT until you at least get rid of those horrid H wheels!:D

Once again, I agree with Austin. You NEED to get rid of those H spokes. I have faith in you though.......so I will wait to see the finished product :)

I agree on both parts. Just doesn't look right with the H wheels. Then again, NOTHING looks right with H wheels.....

In all seriousness though, I think that the fact that the H-spokes are so polarizing is probably the reason they're so cool.
That, and believe it or not theres lots of Vipers here, and I like to be different, but don't like the aftermarket look.:D

Nope. Honestly they look like something you'd anchor a boat with. They really dont fit the look of the SRT at all. I've TRIED to like the H wheels and it just isnt happenin'. I think you should have kept the stock 6 spokes and did them in a matte black finish. If you go with an aftermarket wheel, go with something like 360, as you mentioned. They make a wheel called the 'Mesh Eight' that would look really good.

haha, you guys crack me up. I think the H-Wheels will look nice if I do them in matte black, dont you think?

Sorry dude. I love your taste in Vipers, but I'm just not feeling the H wheels. When you look at the side profile of a car, wheels can make or break the looks. In this case, there's just too much wheel there that visually sticks out way more than it should. I think that takes away from the beauty of the car, IMO...

I'd go for something a little more aggressive, yet subtle at the same time :)

Pretty cool look, the H spokes look wild but one thing comes to mind.....you are onto something with the black H spokes......maybe Dodge should offer these on the 09 ACR........pretty neat combo.

I was going to say that I don;t like the color combo at all but after seeing Fikes photoshop with the GTS blue lipped wheels it looks very cool. I like the H spokes but I would say go with the matte black and blue lip it brings the entire car together somehow.

If you are going for a darker center, I would strongly suggest iforged anthracites with polished lips, perhaps in the Astra model or something more elaborate. The ACR wheels are hideous.

I'm also not a fan of the H rims, even in black. The 5 spoke wheels look best to me, and I'd keep them in their stock polished finish. Normally I do not like the latest trend of matte finishes, nor black hoods. But with the slate color it works well.
One thing that bugged me from the beginning with the ACR was that the "driver's" stripe does not go down the trunk and rear bumper, which looks unfinished to me.

Overall, I'm liking the look of your new car though so far. :D

We know the finished product will look great, but the black H spoke wheel looks like something in a Mad Max movie.

Bat, why does the blue stripe not go all the way down the rear section and over the rear bumper??? I'm just curious IMO of course that would really finish off that paint job nicely.
