I was just watching an old episode of "Top Gear" were they searched for the "greatest road to drive", I think it ended up being some 15 mile curvy mountain slope in Switzerland, but I think that could be a good idea on determining the next VOI location. Who can come up with the best drive????

Well Colorado is a good choice if people want a centrally located national show. We are hosting the Saleen Nationals (SN6) in Castle Rock, CO this year on July 31st to August 2nd. Hey we even have a Ford GT and 08/09 Viper class due to Saleen involvement. Not going to kick out any older Vipers from showing, they just can't win a trophy. :) It is a great place for a small town feel / large venue and if people want to race, there is Pike Peaks International Speedway just 45 minutes south in Fountain, CO. Awesome track and yes it is still open and there.

Colorado weather the past decade has not been rain every afternoon. It use to be. July/August/September is pretty much a dry heat wave over the past 10 years. Any other month though and it is a complete crap shoot.

I am okay with Phoenix, Topeka, Salt Lake, Albuquerque, Vegas or like venue. Just a more open and laid back atmosphere. I would have gone to VOI10, but it was in Detroit. Absolutely no desire to go to an extremely large closed in city for a fun weekend.

Hopefully we still have interest to do a future VOI show.

I'll bet if we posted pictures of half naked women from each state we would get much better post counts in this thread :rolaugh: If a VOI 11 doesn't get planned by JRT and National we will just have to have one big party in Vegas.:headbang:

I wonder how many people we could fit in Mikes Garage:eater:

A little ****** always helps the cause.
I'm down with Vegas, I don't even know why we we look someplace else.
It is the perfect venue for this kind of event...

well I would not say that the Hotel is in North Las Vegas. It is North of Las Vegas. It is a Very nice hotel in an all new area. I had no problem leaving my Viper in the parking lot there and I am paranoid. Its not what you are thinking.

How about Miami, Plenty of none automotive things to do. There's Homestead-Miami track 30 miles south, County line speedway 15 miles west for the drag guys 1/8 mile easy on the parts or if you prefer 1/4 then 75 miles north is Palm Beach international raceway park (old moroso). Then a 125 mile trip to Key West that would be an awesome overseas highway (US1) cruise. Plus world class hotels/resorts. I'm not even going to mention the abundant of beautiful women.. ahh..people for the gals in in the club! Not a central location but if done in the winter it would be a great reason to get away from the cold/snow! example, we're expecting mid 80's by this weekend. I'm thinking how cool it would be of an air shot from the 7 mile bridge in the keys lined with vipers end to end. Now that would be a poster I would buy!!!

If there was going to be one, wouldn't the planning already be taking place? If so, then we would know one was going to happen. Not sure how long it took to plan the last one but I would think at least a few months. Its been 5 months since VOIX. I hope there will be another one. I know it won't be at the scale of the ones in the past as they were manufacturer sponsored. I think those days are over. Who actually does the setup and planning? I would think it would already be known if a VOI 11 was going to happen and in what capacity.
