Im a new owner and just after i bought the car the driver door electric handles stopped working from outs i have to use the manuel latch to get in and out.

The Gen2 cars have a history of breaking or shorting wires where the door transfer for the harness is. I would start there and see if there is anything obvious, if not start testing for broken ones.
