Vendor Review: Macedo Motorsports

Excellent workmanship and he has full knowledge of Viper engines and drivelines. I have over 30,000miles on my Macedo rebuilt engine. M2 airbox works similar to Vipair and custom painted and built. I recently removed heads for porting and cylinderwalls look new and there is no discernable wear. Mind boggling performance and 20mpg (US gl.). I've driven this car from Ohio to central BC. I was the only Viper driven from Western Canada to Detroit and back and one of the 5 Wash VCA club guys that drove to VOI and back.

I stumbled across Kenny's Macedo review site. Obviously that build was a few years back? Anyone else have a real review they can give me

Plum I've heard great things about DLM as well. He is a little more than twice the distance from M2. I have all the confidence in the world that M2 can put a big smile on my face. No doubt I will have a review in the coming weeks.

I believe Ted is refering to Mr. John Canal, North/Central FL President.
To make it short, Larry has been doing work on my car for 4-5 years now (can't keep track). He has been first class to me all the way. He originally helped me with my Roe S/C install over the phone and email before I was even a customer. Eventually I sent him my car to figure it out. I ended up with a great engine build, heads, cam, Roe etc. I've ran the car on the street, track, and strip. It's been a great build and I am an extremely anal/picky person.
In fact, he has my car again, finishing up a TT build on it.
Florida vipers owners are very lucky when it comes to selection, they have Macedo, Levin, and Heffner.

I have known Larry for many years. He is by far one of the best tuners around. He built race cars for me, serviced all of our school cars at the Viper Driving School and is reliable and continues to service all of our Vipers and new SRT 8 Challenger. You can't go wrong with him as your tuner.

Macedo does all the work on my cars, including brands other than Dodge, yes I admit I own Fords, and Chevys. Larry is one of the best people you will ever meet, his knowledge of the Viper and the V-10 I would put up against anyone in the World. He just finished putting a twin screw on my SRT8 challenger, which I would guess will probably hang with a stock Viper in a drag race now, and the install and tunning are tops. Larry tunned my 01 GTS with a Roe to perfection, the car ran consistant low 10's up to 143 mph on drag radials and had I put a real race tire probably high 9s. This was on a stock cast piston motor too. I have recovered from the purchase of my ACR, so now we are going to move forward with the twin turbo set-up for the GTS. I know there is one person who doesn't agree, but other than a compeitior you won't find many others that have anything negative to say about Larry Your car will be awesome.

Thanks John. I saw your GTS over there this past week when I dropped mine off. That alone was a big boost of confidence although at that point, I really didn't need it.

Nothing too fancy - Roe 5#, Vec III, fuel filter, 180 deg thermostat, plugs, and a tune with a few cards to send me home with. He will do a before and after dyno for me as well.
"scrounged-up" = hardly. I had the deal in the works soon after my original post. Just took a lil while to take delivery from halfway across the country.

you gonna love the Roe s/c! and no better tuner than larry to do the work on your car, not only he's good he is perfectionist, he did a great job on my Roe, and after about 5000 miles, no problem whatso'ever (exept not driving the car enough) your car is in good hands my friend,good luck and stay safe.

Larry is the best. Most of you guys have never seen the Gen I "creation" he did for a local Orlando "gentleman" 
, but it was nothing less than a work of art, probably the fastest Gen I EVER!

I cannot give enough praise to Larry for the job well done. Although the build and tune took longer than expected: 3 1/2 weeks, I'm glad he took the time to do everything right as well as update me along the way. I couldn't be happier. I know I made the right decision going with the Roe S/C. Thanks to this board especially RTTTTed for his grand recommendation of M2 Motor Sports.
