Hey Doug,

Did find and install an upper radiator hose spring, a 170 T-stat (same as Gen III), drained some of the OE fill and replaced it with distilled water and 2 bottles of Redline's water wetter.

At the track a week and a half ago, coolant temps at peak were just over 200 F. Track was relatively short and twisty but air temps were only about 80 F during the heat of the day. Car cooled down immediately after I stopped pressing on it.

It seemed to run quite a bit cooler than the last time at the track.

Any viable solution to the upper radiator hose collapse mentioned in this thread?

My upper radiator hose collapses under WOT as well. Where can I get a spring to keep the hose open? I have not been able to locate one. Thanks.

I'm wondering if a SS braided hose would help or if the rubber hose inside the SS would still collapse.

You guys can find radiator hoses with springs at NAPA.

You may have to buy the hose to get the spring!

Easy install.

Yea these gen4's are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

Seems with the gen3's most dyno stock in the 430-450 rwhp range..

then with

-headers
-tune
-filters
-exhaust
-high flow cats or cat delete
-throttle body
-light weight fly wheel
-roller rockers

You can hit the 500-520 rwhp mark as some have done this on this site..

but the gen4's are hitting 600 rwhp and these guys dont even have every single bolt on...It's not gonna surprise me when some one has a 640 rwhp bolt on Gen4...

Man the Viper is defiently going out in style....
