Whenever I start and stop the car, I'm hearing some sort of "feedback" from the speakers. Almost sounds like a vinyl record being scratched. And for the first time today, there's a "ding" sound coming on randomly and every few minutes. The "ding" sound is the sound the car makes when a warning light comes on, but there's no warning light. Battery gauge is showing the battery is ok. Depending on what feedback I get here, I may be setting an appointment with Eddie at Bill Luke Dodge next week. Any ideas?

I've heard the feedback you describe during shutdown. I can't remember any dings. Sounds like the dings are a separate issue. The feeback is from the audio amp shutting down in my opinion and I have not considered it a problem.

Interesting. The "dings" just started. The feedback from the speakers has been around for a couple months now, with the car driven one or two times per week. Would you be concerned with having the "ding" without a warning light? I'm not due for a service for a couple months and would rather wait until October if at all possible.
