Did anyone see the Snake Eyes headlights that Carlos Ugaz, Sr. put on his red '04 Vert in this month's Viper Mag? I really like those, and was hoping to contact Carlos to see how he made them, if he'll give up the secret! :2tu:

I think he got them off of those pick-up truck rear window decals then cut out the eyes and grafted them onto his headlights. Really neat! :2tu:

Vipermag p 48. New mag

PartsRack has SNAKE EYES overlays and banners, and we have them for RT and SRT back windows too! (Transparent of course) COLORS TOO

Can print them on any number of different materials. Do you want the lights to shine through them? Are they just for show on a stopped or parade car? We print from static cling (which may fall off at highway speed, to low tack removable and replaceable, to view through (like a bus window), to permanent adhesive. Your choice. $50 to $75 per set any material. We also print rear view through windows with snake eyes. $125

The parking-light ambers make the eyes glow !

I can email a photo, unable to post [email protected]

Sorry if the post was in the wrong place - Viper Magazine indicated that Carlos frequents VA/MD events, and I thought this would be the best way to find him.

Thanks for posting the pic, BlackSnake99! Turns out, JonB has the part. If it looks as good as I'm hoping on my all-black GTS, I'll post pics in the Washington section in a couple weeks.

Thanks for your help!

He does frequent events, he just doesn't spend anytime online. If you want me to contact him for you, PM me your information.

I had a chance to see the car up close today. I like the snake eyes headlights but think they would really pop on a dark car (black)... Wish I could have seem it in my rear view...Probably a pretty cool sight.

I found out that they come in all different colors - the red/yellow/black shown, silvery/grey/black, etc. Low-stick adhesive should make them easy-on, easy-off.

I can't decide whether they're going to look really good or really bad on my car. But they're cheap, so I'm gonna try-em on, and see if I like 'em. Might just end up being parade and show regalia, as suggested. If they're really bad, I'll deny ever ordering 'em. ;)

So What? There is a yellow c5 vette with lambo doors and all kinds of tasteless chrome stick-on stuff that gets more attention at shows than my GTS...

whooptie-doo!

I'm thinkin it's one of those things you have to see in person. Like Snake Skin Green.

The first time I saw that in a brochure and Viper Mag, I thought who in the world would spent that much good money for something that hideous! :crazy2: And then I saw one sitting in the sun at SRT Days, and went Wow! Then my wife drove a new SSG Viper at Mopars at the Strip, and decided that's the one! My next Viper just got SSG instead of Black or Yellow. Never would have guessed that by looking at the pictures!

How did something that is so obscence get through the DMV? The DMV in Colorado wouldn't let me have BADASP, even though BADASP1 and 1BADASP were already taken.

Realizing what that means takes an order of intelligence far above that posessed by your average DMV worker. Just wait till those same people are in charge of your health care.:crazy2:
