John, I agree with you. The painted vents would make it too "busy" and draw attention away from the body lines the stripes highlight.

Good god, don't paint the hood vents unless you want to change your Viper into a dork car in one fell swoop. I still remember the dipsh1t who got himself all white wheels on a 2006 blue/white stripe Viper. He suffered unconscionable humiliation until he finally removed them. It took about 1 year but he is finally able to sleep through the night without hosing himself and his wife. Such tragic decision making can creep up on anybody. Don't let it happen to you.

All you need now is yellow tires, valve stems & wiper blades. And blacked out lenses, mirrors and hood scoops!
