I have them (emblems) on 06 and 09 --have NOT noticed missing "nuts' etc.
Only thing I notice on later Gen Vipers is weak paint. Even dealers carp about it (they shall go unnamed) It is a shame for a car that used to have great paint (my older Vipers were bullet proof) --if you look hard at a Gen 3-4 it will chip.

I remember reading a post awhile back where someone on here received a new Viper with NO fender emblems...How the heck do you miss that
If you seen my 08 SSG coupe you would of thought someone was drinking when they did EOL on it..
I think if I did eol inspection at Conner they would probably fire me after a week as cars would be backed up awaiting fixes,lol .....

I guess the biggest blunder was the early 04s which fell in a January 04 build date and had the crankshaft damper bolts falling off ....having said that my 04 Mamba had excellent quality control and did not have a single issue.

Are Vipers supposed to have wipers? I asked my dealer why mine doesn't and he said they weren't intended to be driven in the rain??

It's one of those "you never know when you'll need them" sort of things. Fortunately, I've never had to use mine (three Vipers) while living in South Texas (Houston) where it can flood in one part of the city and be perfectly fine in another. But nonetheless, if they are there, they are supposed to function. Mine didn't.

I always thought maybe my car was in an accident since it does not have the badges but it would have driven me crazy to know for sure and probably made me sell the car. Thanks car guys!!!

The 06 that I have is no better. Its flat out missing a number of them on the trim, and a few on the body panels.
If I could remove the badges, as it seems I can, I would. Heck the side SRT badges look like they were put on my a drunk they are so war off level and falling off.
