Is it me, or is there an issue with site refreshes lately? Over the past 2-3 weeks, i've noticed that when a thread is opened, about 1 in 3 times, the page never loads and I have to F5 it. Granted, I use firefox most of the time but haven't made any changes to it. Same with SEARCH... sometimes, i have to hit REFRESH to get any contents to come up.

Is it me or is there an issue w/ the board?

Unfortunately, there isn't a NO-SCRIPT equivalent for chrome.

I don't have problems on any site OTHER than the VCA, though... and there are other forum boards that run the same software. Not sure if it is the same versions, though.

yeah, i am forced to use firefox, even ie once in a blue moon,

i just hate getting trashed up with browser nanny tech without being asked

I was having the same problem at work (using IE) last week. Wasn't having the problem at home (using Firefox). I checked and the IE settings had been changed to never check for newer versions of stored pages. I changed that to "every visit to the page" and haven't had the problem since.

The site does seem slow to me, too; let me check out the server, it might need a kick in the pants.... :)
