+1 on the views but I did send a potential buyer there.

btw: what do you know about the 1400 miles pre-title? Sales manager used it or?

Beautiful car - good luck. :drive:

'03s don't seem to be as popular as the Gen 2 or 4s. Economy ***** and even my $32,000 BB Duster isn't drawing interested parties at asking price $23,000.

If your Viper is priced comaprably then hang in there as a lower price may not make any difference to selling the car. Dealer offered me $17,500 (sight unseen) for my Duster - that's about half of value. Not for sale under $20,000.

Same thing happened to my Super Bee, and let it go fairly Cheap.

My ad should explain it : "It had 1,400 miles on it when I picked it up in March of '08. It was untitled!"

The 1400 miles belonged to the original owner. He used trip permits to drive it to car shows. You'll see he didn't title it until last year when he made the sale to me.

I've spent over $30,000 on parts to build the car and another 2 years labor to do everything in it for resto-mod. I understand that STREET RACING is passe and not as popular - and I havn't had any thousands of dollars offered that my car would lose in tens of years, but ... surely someone wants a 10 sec car that looks like 12s?

I'd let it go for $20,000, but I parked it in my car trailer to keep it enclosed and will wait until the economy comes back in a few years. Hopefully the Classics will be even more valuable than now.

I have a 71 Lime Green/black 340 Demon 4spd in the garage. I built a 400-450 hp 360/sb for it a few years ago. Cost was $9,000 plus base engine and head porting! Now that would probably cost an extra 12%. I suppose the few extra 440s I have laying around will be worth huge bucks by themselves soon.

I'm willing to wait. I'd hoped to move the Duster out of my garage and into someone's care that would take it out and do some ass kickin.

GREAT CAR!! STILL FOR SALE!!

If any Washington member sends me a buyer that seals the deal I'll donate $500 to the club's autocross fund.

Hi Nate,

I know the car and would buy it from you if I could but the divorce would be more expensive than the car...

I wish you the best of luck selling it.

As a side note, when I sold my RT/10 I had almost no interest in Nov/December even at 4k below market value, then in March had two calls immediately when I re-listed on the first 55 degree sunny day, even though the price was $3k more... might be worth storing for the winter if my experience is typical.

I believe I've had one inquiry through this site. Recently. But, no sale since he wanted a much lower price.

Thanks James. If you really want it, though, I have a basement I could rent out to you for next to nothing.
