My 01 GTS has a VEC-1. Started it last night as I normally do once a month during the winter. Let it warm up for about 2 minutes, tapped the throttle to about 2000 and it settled down into a lopey idle that sounded like I had installed a big cam:). I did notice the LED from the VEC-1 was all the way in the red, meaning a rich a/f. Now, of course, I am trying to figure out how I can get my car to idle like this when warmed up, because normally it idles like my Lexus. It sounded nasty, like my heads/cam Gen 1. Good idea or bad?

Thoughts on this???

Might have to re adjust for summer time. It should idle in red about the second light.
My 99 ACR takes a completely different adjustment for the summer. I have heads, cam, roller rockers. My car actually runs better in hot weather. Most cars look for the cool air. I never really understood why mine runs stronger in the heat.
