Put them on one of my other cars once and they just never remained securely attached. They would rattle and were uneven in appearance (probably my install work :)). Can anybody recommend nice tips that retain a good look and stay put?

I would be interested in this too. I just want the Tips and not the whole exhaust.

From everything I've read, it sounds like Belanger or Corsa are among the top choices. I haven't made the switch to either yet, but likely will soon...

Ok, so not to steal your thread or anything (and I am sure I will get persecuted for even asking anyway), but suppose "someone" didn't like the look of two big chrome circles sticking out of the side of their SRT-10....are their "tip-less" options out there to keep more of a factory-look while still boosting performance?

Ok, someone's got to say it...."nice tips"!

But actually, where did you get the black side emblems? Got black on the rear too? I've got the same car but only with 5 spoke wheels and am in the process of either going badge-less or switching to black if I had a source. I'm sure PartsRack has them, but I haven't checked yet.

Thanks!

I need some goo tips too, anybody got a link?

Just had my mufflers removed, they ran straight pipe from the rear cat back and used
s the stock turn out with a chrome tip welded on they got from an exhaust shop, looks
kind of like the Corsa tip but sticks out a bit more.

Magnaflow has a tip that is the same as the old Corsa Track tip. It's available through Summit Racing . The only problem with it is that it's too long...about 8 inches long if I remember correctly. You have to cut the excess off from the back side. Once installed it looks exactly the same as the old Corsa Track tips which I think look the best.

I got these tips from 'Zero Altitude Flight', installed on the stock mufflers. Oval shape to match the OE tips, they come out at a 45* angle and IMO really look good. Well made, High quality stuff.

Black side emblems came from Chuck Tator, I do not have black on the rear only sides.

Bought a pair of stainless steel exhaust tips with rolled ends from Summit Racing. They were about 12" long. Just cut the ends off and welded them to my factory exhaust tips.

ok, that looks amazing. Can you tell me where I might be able to pick up chrome tips like the one's you have pictured as well as the chrome ring around it? I have an 04 SRT-10 w/ the Corsa exhaust. When the car is cold the mufflers are perfectly centered, but when the car is driven the muffler seems to move to the rear of the opening. I'm assuming this is due to the heat expanding w/ the exhaust system. My only question is, is this normal?

Be very aware that these do not fit the 08 and up cars, I have a set that I had on my 06 and they fit great, but I have tried them on my 08 and friends 08 and they do not fit the same as they did on the 06. I am sure it has to do with the removal of the crossover. They also have some pitting from the normal sandblasting that occurs from
normal driving since they stick out a fair amount. If anybody wants my set, $100 and they are yours, or you can spend a couple of hundred and get your own pit marks in a couple hours of driving:omg:

Get the tips you want and send them off to Jet-Hot for their "black" coating. Looks 99% factory, though the trained eye seems them as bigger. I have the full Bellangers and Jon B helped to achieve that look for me by sending the tips off to Jet-Hot for coating. Worked great and could not be happier.

Vast majority of people don't even know I have different exhaust on, until I start the car. Wow!

Have the "Zero Altitude" made tips stayed in place? No shifting or rattle? Did you also get their "beauty rings" which go around the pipes, did they stay adhered?

are these the Zero Altitude tips that would not fit the 08 well?

Yes, those were the Zero Altitude tips on my 08.
My mechanic took care to install them properly and they stayed on well with no rattles all of last year.
This year I got the Belanger headers installed keeping the stock muffler, but the other installer did not take the same care at reinstalling the tips and on my first drive home, I lost them both.
The beauty rings also stayed on well last year, but this summer one came unglued, so I put some black silicone glue and all is fine now.
