Well done people! SLC is a beautiful town and the facilities are top notch. Let's see, Houston to SLC is 1543 miles and expected to take 23 hrs at highway speed with a trailer. In my GTS, I should be able to make it in 12 hours.... so it's a day trip!! I'm driving the snake!!!! :drive: :headbang:

Texas folks, let's start the discussions now on the caravan!!

Damn would love to make this, but bad time of the year to be able to bring the wife. She's a teacher and can't get off work then. But might be able to swing it myself.

Here is another reason to go to SLC. I have spent quite a bit of time there work related. There are several very fine small breweries that make some good suds.

This is an actual 6 pack holder of a brand that I really like. The companies other tag line is "Take some home to the wives".

Steve you are in for a treat in 007 ---- technical track , but fast and super, super safe. Easily in my top 5 favorite tracks in the US, and very likely numero Uno!!! ( still have a fondness for Road Atlanta , too )

You certainly drove it well the last time you were there at the track.

It's time to book your rooms!

Ted

Not sure, but assuming Wstrn Cda and Washington clubs will be staying in Montana Wednesday (28) night and arriving SLC on Thurs evening and that's how I'll be booking my rooms.

Anybody know when the registration will open for VOI 11?
Nope! But a good guess would be early March. Registration fees are very likely to be under $700 per person (vs. $895 for VOI 10), but it is too soon to know for sure. Book your hotel for now (the Grand is likely to sell out, as the World Challenge and Viper Days folks can also book under our block) and then watch this forum for more information as it develops! :2tu:

They say good things will come to those who wait... the longer the wait for registration the better the offering we will all get hopefully?

Does anyone know what the helmet requirements are for the track events? I thought I saw it earlier, but now I can't find it. I'm wondering if M-rated helmets will be accepted, and whether 2000 certs will be OK.

Thanks,
Steve
