Just had these stripes painted... I was going to get solid stripes painted but went for a snakeskin look because it was unique.

Also have some black rims ordered and I will post more pictures once they are installed.

Let me know what you think.

Oh my god :omg:...what are you thinking...your viper isn't blue with white stripes ;). I don't love it, but the whole package...color/stripe combination along with the personalize tag does look nice.

Thanks guys for your comments. I thought I would get a hard time from some. I appreciate both the negative with the positive. As for the artist who did the work, the guys name is Travis Roma. He does REALLY good custom work, and has won awards. One of which is from West Coast Choppers, and was placed first. I do plan on putting on a clear bra asap, but there is no-one in the Maritimes that I can find, who is willing to attempt to install it on a Viper! I am going to attempt it myself.

It looks quite professional and that's probably most important. As others have mentioned, it also looks quite "custom", which it seems, is exactly what you're looking for.

The aesthetics are subject to personal opinion. I think it creates a "western" look, sort of like you'd need cowboy boots to drive, but my opinion should be irrelevant to you.

Enjoy it!

if u do the clear bra your self,u may allready know this, but use a few drops of baby shampoo in a water sprayer to install the clear, and then 1 part to 6 parts rubbing alcohol in a sprayer to position the clear on corners and bends when you reposition the clear time and time again to get it perfect, pull the clear up,spray 3 times and stretch and lightly pull to make perfect, every time you reposition the clear, spray the rub.dont pull and stretch to hard , but dont baby it either.

Yes I think what he did was clear coat it, then sand or buff it again. Then reapply the clear coat. So you can't feel or see any edge where the stripes are.

Looks like someone spent MANY hours doing the airbrushing! :omg:

I am thinking in the sunlight it should change the entire look of the car! Should show the deapth well.

Look forward to seeing it in person at somepoint! :)

I agree, on a black car that might look pretty awesome. Still pretty neat on silver. Might look alot better on a GTS. Im not a big fan of stripes on RT/10's

I know there was a lot of work put into that and it doesn't look bad at all. If it makes you happy that's all that matters. How much did those stripes cost?

You are right Rob when it is in the sun light, It is a deeper shine and its almost like the scales change colour. It took him about 8 or 9 days, by the time he striped and then put the panels back together. So yes it was quite a bit of work. As for the cost it was around $3500. The worst part know is that they told me I should wait 1 month for the paint to cure, before I put the clear bra on, and this winter has been long enought.Once I can get it outside and the new rims on, I will post some more pics.
Oh and thanks for your opinions,I new it would'nt be every bodys cup of tea.
