Selling my 2001 RT/10

I believe I will be selling my 2001 Yellow RT/10. It has 11,500 miles on it and is in fantastic condition inside and out. I just put new PS2's on it a couple months ago and new Northern Cal custom floor and trunk mats in it. It is completely stock except for Random Tech high flow cats installed professionally to help keep the side sills cooler. I have the original cats in case someone wants them. I ordered the 3 piece trunk top from AP Engineering and should get it any day (cost around $3K), so it will have a new matching hardtop. It also has a really good condition soft top with the original bag along with the original touneu cover and bag. When I get some time and energy I will post an ad, but I am going through some depression and don't feel like doing much. I would like to get around $37K for it. You can see it in my Avatar for right now. PM me if interested. It is a very nice Viper... Big-N-Italian could probably vouch for it-he lives close by...

Yes, I did say that last year, but I have tried to work things out... Doesn't look like I have been sucessful in that endevour.

Actually my screen name is in tribute to my dog that died a few years ago. We always called him "George The Dog". He was so cool. By the way, a nice yellow RT/10 would look good with your yellow GTS. I know where you can get one...

Having been divorced myself (very happily married now), I feel for you....it is always difficult. Shame you would have to sell you RT, as it is nice to have some of your favorite things to help get through the situation. But, that said, if you have to sell, then you have to sell...we don't know your situation.

It did occur to me that you might be selling it to get a faster - red - RT, but divorce is not a fun situation.....

I cancelled my order on the new 3 piece top. Although I know where one can be found it need be. I was only allowing myself to recoup $1K of the $3K on the car price with the top included, so my price just went down to $36K or so...

I will be posting some pictures to my personal webpage sometime this weekend. I will post an address when I get that done.

Sorry to hear about the divorce. Been there, done that. It's rough for a little while, but like others have said, it does get better. I've had friends tell me I seem so much happier now than when I was married. I didn't even know I had become unhappy until I look back now and realize how damn happy I truly am now! Not that it's easier any time of the year, but I got divorced in late Nov and sitting around inside while it's cold in the winter kind of sucked. As soon as nice weather started hitting in the spring, my mood really turned around. Enjoy the nice weather and spend some time with friends out doing things. It helped me tremendously.

I am taking the car to Roanoke next week for a fluid change and an inspection by thier Viper Tech for those interested in it. Just thought I would let you know. I will post any comments. :drive:

Sorry to hear it! Another Viper is around the corner as is another future with another mate!!! :2tu: Been there, done that a couple times. "NO FUN"! I feel for ya. Nice car and good luck with the sale. Things will get easier as others have said!

Not going to say sorry for the divorce. Going to concentrate on the positive and say that if she (or you) don't want her around, then you are better off not being with her.

Divorce can be a drag. Don't play the nice guy. Defend yourself.

The best thing I ever heard anyone say pertaining to an upcoming divorce was: "Grow a set". If there are kids involved, try to protect them as best you can. If you need any non-professional help/advice, send me a pm.

Thanks again for the support. There are 2 kids involved which makes it messy. We are on very friendly terms, so that is making arrangement/settlement stuff easier. We just lost our passion for each other and feel it is time to move on I suppose. Thanks again fellow Viper friends. :)

This is horrible. I am really, really sorry George. Very sad. A lot of people don't realize how much pain there is after so many years together. But keep positive, when the time is right you can get a new one...and a new wife too.

Until then I have one word for you - Asia.
